Thread: Soviet unit roster needs fixing 3 Oct 2018, 05:28 AM Soviets are forced to rely on crutch units because rest of the faction sucks Conscripts need to be 190, no ppsh they are literally ostruppen tier unit without the powerful hammer that is wehr weapon teams or the baseline mg42 upgrade) Maxim needs a suppression buff, or atleast an arc boost t70 needs to be less wipey especially on the move grenades need to be merged Sniper needs to go back to 2 models with low rate of fire but only one model is the sniper the other is a "spotter" with a rifle that works like the new revamp patch 5 grenadier upgrade. t34-85 need to be even more fuel intense so that they're a second tank after 76 and not a replacement t34-76 needs ram with more accelerate and that doesn't destroy its turret if the turret isnt facing the front guards need to choose between upgradeing dp or ptrs and not get either free or have both, its obnoxious to play with and to deal with, in return it gets a 1 pop decrease. Also you really can't beat the cost efficiency of the 50 munis phosphorous barrage! I feel like mortar just isn't efficient enough at killing to keep up with rifles? I usually use mortar for smoke more than barrage, mgs feel like they just tank mortar barrage while suppressing ur rifle until you need to retreat before mortar pressures their mg. This is main reason I'm reluctant for them, even though on faymon i usually play infantry company against wehr with priest as my anti static insurance. In: Strategy Desk
Thread: Faymonville approach static slugfest23 Sep 2018, 12:38 PM Been playing quite a few games of this map on USF lately where my usual aggressive pace is really slowed down by effectiveness of mgs, AT guns and to a lesser extent bunkers and mines on this map I can't figure out what it is particularly that forces me into an early mortar level pace on this map especially, hoping for some map specific advice against more defensive enemies In: Strategy Desk

Thread: Feedback for Commander Revamppatch17 Sep 2018, 15:18 PM the urban defense doctrine soviet headquarters building uses Brit forward headquarters model, and there's a very large and obvious commonwealth circle emblem on the tent, somewhat immersion breaking as soviets. I understand there's not likely going to be a brand new model for it, but perhaps something more neutral could be used instead at least In: Lobby
