Thread: Experiences with Jagdpanzer IV5 Jan 2015, 11:51 AM The Jagdpanzer IV is the nemesis for Shermans/T34s if you support it appropriately (mines, schrecked Volksgrenadiers, fausting unit) and if you do not overextend it. Once the Jagdpanzer IV hits veterancy 1 it can camouflage which offers you more opportunities (strike first ambush). I could pretty effectively destroy other Tank Destroyers like the Jackson with the Jagdpanzer IV too, especially if it was vetted up. Generally I would combine JPIV with a doctrine that is able to call in units who can faust (Luftwaffe or Breakthrough Doctrine; I prefer Luftwaffe due to the MG34 and Valiant Assault) since you can simply faust rushing or flanking tanks thus making them unable to hunt down your JPIV, furthermore presenting your tank easy targets.
