If everyone speaks the same language on Earth we will all be citizens of the world, and not individual countries. 2) Since most here do not natively speak english, I like reading the whole 5 sentences and still not being sure which side of the argument they are on. I got the same result each time. My next guess would be your video is running off of the i7 and NOT the 3060. Or you do not have valid nVidia drivers on the laptop and it is using the generic Windows driver. I do not know how you can NOT be using the 3060. It is probably a setting in the BIOS? Verify you are using the 3060 in Windows and maybe check for an updated driver. If this was a PC build, I would guess 130-140 fps (maybe a little more) for a new i7 and a 3060. Since it is a laptop I have no idea. A typical i7 is a 65 watt chip. Your laptop chip is rated around 35 watts. So it may be about half as fast. Same could be for the GPU. But that means you should still see about 65 fps. So I am going with the video issues above for now. Final answer. What did I win In: Hardware and Tech
Thread: 44FPS with a 3060 Laptop20 Dec 2021, 12:38 PM I am noob. You should run it a few times in a row to rule out caching of assets into memory. Then you will want to turn the VERTICAL SYNC OFF in Graphical settings. It sounds like you are locked to the LCD screens refresh rate of 60 Hz and are getting a few dips during playback. Your RAM is 3200 which is pretty solid. Should not be a major issue. You may only have a single stick so you would see some improvements by adding another stick so it runs in Dual Channel mode. Laptops are always SLlllooooowwwwww.... no one should ever buy a laptop for games. But we don't live in a perfect world. In: Hardware and Tech

Things change some going to 3v3 and 4v4 but I play less of that. ^ This OKW sucks balls in 4v4 for new players. Unless you like headbutting MGs. And although all stats indicate that all OKW teams are rare, I seem to get them all the time. Insta-loss against any MG players with functioning grey matter. Not to mention they can make caches and out fuel you later where you are supposed to be strong. In: COH2 Gameplay

It says he is switching roles in the picture. Sounds like a promotion within the org itself. From what AE has stated, Quinn Duffy made Angoville so he is already at legendary status. He is also the only name I have ever heard mentioned from Relic about Coh/Coh2. So him leaving Relic would not be a good thing. However, I badly recall a YouTube video where he was touting mortars in Coh as being a good thing. So maybe him leaving would not be so bad. CoH3 wont be like CoH2, it might share simularities, but it will be much closer to the vCoH. Not because they used the ideas of vCoH, but even because Relic acknowledged that vCoH was a better game and they should look at it for insparation. Since this thread has gone off the rails... What about Coh3 makes it feel like vCoh? I thought top 1v1 players wanted a commander system closer to vCoh so it was not so predictable. They do not want players to be able to know that at minute 4, unit X will arrive. Having branches in the tech tree lets you have more options. This could be great for tournaments if the tech trees dont suck and therefore become predictable. vCoh point system? WhiteFlash has been begging for this for years to help balance maps better. Make areas worth something if you go there. I never had issue with the Coh2 system since it made sense that every map will have the same exact number of points. Unless its a WF map of course But the vCoh system may have map timings all be different. Maybe that is good??? What am I missing? In: Lobby

I'm cringing from the US soldier face all the time I see it. Almost every game for the last 15 years has animated models in the UI. Is there a chance maybe Relic plan to do this with Coh3 as well? That would explain plasticy 3D rendered looking images instead of hand painted art style pics. I dont recall seeing animated models in AOE4 though... Hmmm In: Lobby

Something any one of us could do in 2-3 days tops. Lets hope that is because a patch is low priority and the guys/gals have their heads down and getting to it now. I almost made a working 1v1 Coh style game in a month by myself in my spare time. So we should see some massive changes pretty quick. In: Lobby
