Thread: [Community][Mod] Cheat commands Mod23 Feb 2023, 16:14 PM Thank you to Janne, AE, and Relic(?). Coh without CheatCommands is a waste of time. You took a weird engagement in a game? Test it out. You are making a map or a mod? Test it out. Are these units good close, med, or far? Test it out. It should have been built right into the game by now. Just another example of Relic not knowing what they have in their hands. They need to hire someone who actually plays the game outside of competitive modes. In: COH3 Central

Really? Surprised? From Relic? The Lords of Clown Town? Putting your faith in Relic will always equal disappointment. I have never, ever, ever, once talked to someone who worked with Relic and said they were professional and on point and they could not wait to work with them again. So I added a lot of different objects to create closer range fights and allow for more flanking. I also wanted to add some buildings and green cover here and there. (4) Belgorod Rain I have been doing a lot of programming and needed something to do to shut my brain off. So I started creating a version of Belgorod that was a little less open and had some of the things that make Coh2 what it is. Like buildings, green cover etc. Coh2 is dead. But I felt the rain effects were so cool I wanted to post it for people to check out. Nothing special just a nice ambience ala Port of Hamburg. I wanted to show just how cool the Coh2 engine and Worldbuilder are. I am barely scratching the surface of what it can do and it looks cool. FOR MAPPERS: 1) I used simple rain settings to create a soft mid summer rain feel. 2) Increased the GLOSS lighting in ATMOSPHERE SETTINGS/MISC ENVIRONMENT. 3) Used the Cement\Cement_Puddle tile texture to create wet areas. Painting this under splats that had see thru areas really popped. 4) Used the FX Action Marker fx_ambient\water\raining_ground_ripple_01_hugelight to get some random drops hitting land effects. Thread: CoH2 vs CoH3 Battlegroups MTX7 Feb 2023, 05:53 AM I came to Coh2 later in its life. I missed any early debacles with OP commanders. So I see the method of purchasing items with supply or real money the best way forward. As long as it is easily obtainable. For example: You cant price a great commander/Battlegroup so high it takes forever to get it with supply. As you are getting stomped in automatch because of it. That will kill the game. Are there other games out there that have the return on your time like Coh/Coh2? Do people play LoL, Dota, CS:GO for 1000's of hours??? I almost feel I should buy Coh3 just to pay Relic for the 5k hours I have in Coh2. I surely got back the small amount of cash I paid for it. Oh that's right, they actually owe me $1000's of dollars for sitting in Queue trying to get a playable game for all those years... you lazy cucks. Having things you can purchase for real money seems fine for the people who will be playing for years and years. They may want to support the studio. And for the donkeys that just have to have the "cool" skins on their tanks, etc. In: COH3 Central

Thread: How exactly does leaderboard ranks work?31 Jan 2023, 06:37 AM Each game is worth some amount of ELO or rank. It is based off your opponents rank. If you lose to low rank people, you will lose a lot of ELO/Rank. There is a fixed amount you can win/lose at each level. People in the top 100 do not gain or lose much rank. People in the lower tiers can lose 100 - 300 rank in a single game. Your best bet is to get the Desktop app from Coh2Stats.com where you are posting this image from. That will tell you everyone ranks. Then you will understand what is happening from game to game. So my guess is your are barely getting to Level 11. Lose a game and you are back down into Level 10. If you are not paying attention, people sometimes drop a game or two and forget. Then they see their rank drop a ton later because those games you left were still going on and finished later.
