Another side note about how sad the KT is now(I rarely make one anyway):
Once in a while I would get in a match with a guy called HOI-PapaXin (Paula?). He quickly became my favorite 4v4 player. He had a bunch of killer strats based on the KT.

One time he had the KT surrounded with Obers/Volks followed by a IR half track. Looked like the Orcs in the battle of Gondor coming your way with Grond. Death incarnate. I was all smiles as he cut my team mates to pieces.

Another time it was a little tighter quarters map so he surrounded the KT with Goliaths! Anyone came near the KT they got popped like a zit. Epic.

Now its probably back to boring ole Volks, Obers, Panther meta. Sad. If it takes a doctrine to bring the KT back to glory, maybe it is worth it?

The KT does feel odd being a default unit, however if you remove it that would mean that the OKW would be down one very heavy tank unit.

I started a conversation in the shout box, that the KT seems like more of a comeback mechanic for aggressively placed tier 4 trucks. In most games you never build all 4(3) trucks. Then you start getting rekt and lose your tier 4 and you are basically out of the game for a long time (fuel cost/time to build). The KT was a requirement to keep a presence on the field. In order to be a one click comeback it needed to be somewhat OP. However it was too OP last patch so people just built the KT right away. It is probably in a better spot this patch, however you die a little every time you see one made since it instills no fear. More joy from the enemy because they get to kill it and vet up

This is also why the Luchs was so important to be stronk. Letting you skip the Medic HQ. Since it has the lowest fuel cost late game to build. Go Luchs, then Panthers until you lose your T4. Then make the medic truck and call in the KT. Mid to late game you have decent infantry and good armor. Late game switch to great infantry with healing and slow dominant armor.

OKW is probably in a good spot now. Just like other armies, their intended play style is just changed a little. KT could use a small buff if tier 4 is ever going to be used as designed.

You cant blame Relic for wanting a piece of the console pie. Blame Microsoft for slow and weak DirectX/OpenGL support and the ensuing graphics quality arms race. If PC gaming was more reliable ages ago, consoles would not even exist now. Most gamers have no idea what makes a good videocard. Execution units, pipelines, cache, DDRx, bus bandwidth, etc are all arcane specifications most will never care to learn. Nor should they have to just to play a game.

However, I cant believe they have not made a top down mobile version of COH. Stripped down to bare essentials for some quick RTS action on the go. I have been kicking it around since I have most of written already :thinking:

And there is such a huge number of these problematic people there, that banning only 10 would barely make any difference. And giving more bans is impossible since it would be too helpful for finding a match with a carrier.

I think you have a good idea. Limit the number of bans to 5 or 10. It would also make the GUI interface easy for Relic to make. I would probably only ban 3-5 people and I play everyday with noobs in ELO hell. But certain names come up and immediately I say "Oh yeah, that is the asshat that starts fights every match." I wont name names here since that seems not cool by site standards. Although this is almost always premade teams. If they start losing they gang up on the non team member for some troll fun.

I do not think it would change your rank much since game 1 is rank 5000 player, game 2 is rank 100....
