Thread: GCS2 Qualification Hearts and Minds poll13 Jun 2018, 04:26 AM This is a tough choice. In my short time in COH2, Luvnest has been the most consistent player. Never makes mistakes, cool as ice, flawless. I came around just after Jove, I think, so there was just the whispered tales of his dominance. Right around then Noggano was hitting his stride as well. DevM, VonIvan, and Jesulin were scratching at the peak as well. I am also really excited to see some of the other faces test their mettle. Classy Dave was my darkhorse to upset some things. Kimbo has been getting under everyones skin and that would make Vasa happy I do not think their will be a boring match in this whole event. As MMA fans can tell you, it is about matchups sometimes. Not necessarily the best vs best. And perhaps we will have another Hooligan type surprise showing ... :GetsPopCorn: And yes, I wear a helmet. Not for aesthetic reasons. Dont judge. In: GCS Discussion

Thread: Caches have to go in team games10 Jun 2018, 20:39 PM I do not really see an issue with caches other than OKW not being to make any. They are a fun come back mechanic of team games. If you are pushed off of the fuels, just make caches. Simple enough. The argument against that is, the other team was winning and they made caches. But that pretty much says, you were going to lose anyway. The one faction that is weird to me, and maybe it is by design, is Soviets. I always find myself with extra manpower and make caches. Perhaps it is by design or a symptom of their low pop cap? As OST I also find this situation, but only if we are winning. In: COH2 Gameplay

Here is the next thing you need in COH3, transport vehicles. Pick up troops/wounded, and transport them back to base faster than they could walk. Maybe have some fall back spot laid down by commander or units so they can partially retreat. They run fast for short burst towards retreat spot then must move slowly for a bit. Then a truck COULD pick them up and transport back/forth to base. Would add another layer of micro. Good /Bad...Who knows. In: The Library

If Brits go MG and UC vs OKW they have zero capping power. AEC delays real tanks a lot and should generally only be used to counter LV play. Raketenwerfer is actually my favourite AT-gun. Make two, use them together to ambush tanks. Cheesy but effective. OKW can just spam units early game and outcap Brits. Brits suck at holding down 2-3 key positions due to their lack of unit quantity. Then you can also just go heavy into Mech and get Luchs + Puma. Brits are weak vs any sort of good vehicle play while you can just snare AEC if it chases you. Or you go straight for double Obersoldaten + P4, this is especially effective if UKF player went AEC before you build a LV. You will get your P4 way earlier than he can get a Cromwell. Brits are still strong vs OKW in team games but I feel like it´s a pretty balanced, fair match-up now. Unlike in the past, UKF used to just rape OKW on most maps. Yes, my statement was for 2v2 (and 4v4 as well) where capping is not a priority. Brits can push OKW off the map early game. And the OKW player will not be capping much if he has to get two Raks to stop the UC fury. And of course, AEC is the LV response team. In a 1v1 brits could get stomped due to factors like you stated: no capping ability, no snares, etc. It is one of those harsh examples of the 1v1 game balance structure in a team game environment. Thread: Is there a way to report players?8 Jun 2018, 05:12 AM Look at it this way: You are doing Gods work by keeping this toe nail chewing monkey busy while his family/keepers are at work Or he is much better at the game then the people he is playing with and is stuck in ELO hell. Between crashes, drops, mismatched teams you sometimes can not get up to the level of players you should be with. So he could literally feel like you are all noobs. But realistically he is mentally challenged either way: 1. To keep playing a game that just punishes you with ELO hell. 2. Glue eaters always blame others for their faults. 3. For not trying to help his team mates get better and just enjoy the game for fun. In: Lobby

Last game I played, Rak didnt take a shot then missed 3 for 3 on a stationary target. So 4 chances = 0 pens. Quality game, keep up the good work! Thread: Strongest Faction?8 Jun 2018, 04:53 AM Since all RTS players live to contradict each other I will add some more variables for you: It is hard to say who is strongest in 2v2(which I think was the question) because of maps and who you get matched up with/against. Matchups For example: In 2v2 Brits can stomp OKW. Infantry is similar situationally and has MGs and UCs and then AEC. Raketens suck balls and need to be removed from the game. But OST could stomp Brits. So evenly placed players with 2 Brits vs 2 OKW = slaughter. Even though brits are some what garbage in 1v1 contests. Now argue amongst yourselves... In: COH2 Gameplay
