Thread: Please get UKF out of my team games, they are dog shit.16 Jun 2018, 17:30 PM UKF is actually OP in team games. Just not very many people know how to play them. I suck at them but see players doing build like this doing very very well. IS, MG, UC, Bofor/mortar/commandos, more commandos, Firefly. All of these synergize like a mofo. Early game IS+MG+UC pushes people around. Well placed bofor helps mid game. Commandos+Firefly = walk right thru enemy lines like they are not even there. Especially after some mortaring provides yellow cover everywhere. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Possible new COH3 mechanics14 Jun 2018, 21:06 PM Here are some ideas for COH3 to change it up a little: 1. Team Weapon abandon. Options retreat or abandon. Retreat has longer time to pack up the weapon. Abandon retreats and leaves weapon where it is. This could be used when blobs are going to over take your position way before your team weapon could retreat. 2. Troop Transports Each faction gets a transport vehicle to speed up retreat, reinforce, return scenarios. Forward retreat points would allow fast bursts of retreat. Then slow movement for a short period. Trucks pickup squads and take them back and forth to base. (+/-) Adds extra micro. (+) Rewards the extra micro with faster resupply. 3. Supply Transports Vehicles bring up supplies to allow for building items like bunkers/sand bags/tank traps. Maybe purchase the truck for manpower/munitions/fuel. After using up the supplies, it needs to return to base to be upgraded again for more. (+)May be an answer to bunker spam. (-)May break the build your own cover system though. Thread: Relic working on Age of Empires 413 Jun 2018, 23:50 PM It has not been that long since AOE4 was announced. I would guess it is no where near ready for public display yet. 3D modeling and animation takes a lot of people and time. If they introduce things like horses, elephants, etc Relic may be starting from scratch on those models and animations. If it is WWII, it better be done soon! JK In: Other Games
Thread: Is COH2 played competitively?13 Jun 2018, 22:11 PM RNG definitely makes the game fun to watch. RNG can make the game fun to play as well. Relics version of RNG makes you want to punt a baby. Shots not penetrating 3-4 times in a row sucks major ass, no matter how you look at it. Especially when your enemy pens every shot. Feels like getting punched in the goo bag. Maybe for COH3, Roll the dice 1st shot. If it does not hit, force a hit on the next shot. Or at least increase the chance of a hit for each consecutive shot. #RelicHatesUs In: Lobby

Thread: GCS2 Qualification Hearts and Minds poll13 Jun 2018, 04:26 AM This is a tough choice. In my short time in COH2, Luvnest has been the most consistent player. Never makes mistakes, cool as ice, flawless. I came around just after Jove, I think, so there was just the whispered tales of his dominance. Right around then Noggano was hitting his stride as well. DevM, VonIvan, and Jesulin were scratching at the peak as well. I am also really excited to see some of the other faces test their mettle. Classy Dave was my darkhorse to upset some things. Kimbo has been getting under everyones skin and that would make Vasa happy I do not think their will be a boring match in this whole event. As MMA fans can tell you, it is about matchups sometimes. Not necessarily the best vs best. And perhaps we will have another Hooligan type surprise showing ... :GetsPopCorn: And yes, I wear a helmet. Not for aesthetic reasons. Dont judge. In: GCS Discussion
