Thread: I hear the new patches have made western allies op?9 Apr 2019, 14:47 PM Don't think Ostheer is bad, but OKW just do everything Ostheer do, but better. Volks efficience is stupid. At least me, I can only win as USF (1v1) using cheese plays like WC51 with CavRifleman or Pathfinder/Paras/Greyhound. When I try to play with normal rifleman I feel that they lose so hard against OKW. IMO the strongest Allied Faction right now is Brits, sections are very powerful and Bolton should not exist and comes along with a good AT vs light vehicles (since they have more accuracy against small targets) and the AEC and now Snares with engs, very powerful kit. Soviets only function with Penals/shocks/guards, If you don't use any of these units you will probably have a bad time. So in my experience, Brits > OKW > Soviets > USF > Werh In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Heavy Tank Call-Ins9 Apr 2019, 14:25 PM Call In tanks are stupid, it was stupid before and it still stupid. Ignore tech and call in is way more efficient than techs to a normal tank. It's better when you are winning and it's better when you are losing. When you are winning you can farm CPs very fast, when you are losing you don't have fuel anyways so it's better to call in than lose fuel in tech. If you want to find the "value" of a unit you have to add the square of its DPS and the square of its EHP. In addition the 4 Penals do not cost as much as 5 LMG Grenadiers since you also need 300 munition for 5 lmg grenadiers. Do you mean Health Points? I just used normal grens in a 4 man squad and every other squad without upgrades. Gren Near DPS 5.76237 - Squad DPS 23.04948 Gren Long DPS 2.262813 - Squad DPS 9.051252 Gren MP - 240 0.0960395/0.037713 I will multiply to 100 just to quantify better Grenadier total DPS Near/Long per Manpower: 9.60/3.77 Conscripts total DPS Near/Long per Manpower: 8.60/2.11 Penal total DPS Near/Long per Manpower: 10.35/3.61 Volks total DPS Near/Long per Manpower: 9.10/3.61 Infantry Section total DPS Near/Long per Manpower: 6.81/4.14 Rifleman total DPS Near/Long per Manpower: 12,07/3.00 Seems that who really are bad at this are Conscripts. Greens have the best long DPS, just losing to Sections, and they still win vs Volks in every range. People need to know that you can't expect a Squad of Grens win Vs a squad of penals, they have different MP prices, but 5 squads of grens can win against 4 squads of Penals, and they are the same price. Thread: Do you think cons deserve some nondoc AI upgrade ? 26 Mar 2019, 19:00 PM I still don't think a weapon upgrade is necessary, just an ability like hit the dirt or better combat in cover or anything like this is enough. Conscripts don't need to be winning every engagement since they are not a dedicated AI squad, but at least not lose that much. In: COH2 Gameplay

There are no point building sandbags because they lose almost every engagement in a battle cover to cover. Maybe vet 1 remove the flair mine and give them a bonus to cover? I don't like the idea to give them nondoc upgrades, don't think it fits the theme of conscripts. In: COH2 Gameplay
