Putting it forward is a huge risk reward/gamble, risk/reward strats are what every good RTS should have an element of. It's easily destroyed by anything if you focus it and you can't even control what it shoots at, so bait it's bullets with anything that can take a few. The bofors is not even comparable. In live version, games vs maxim spammers end if the enemy managed to hold enough to get a T-70 out. This kind of strategy should be a lot more difficult to pull off in WBP. Nobody has submitted any maxim-spam-related replays that work in WBP, thus, I can't say for sure. Thank you for your correct, helpful and non cancerous attitude/comment. Thread: Is it possible to fix maxim spam before GCS?19 Mar 2017, 07:00 AM It's good to encourage the Soviet player to build a Maxim or other support weapon to support his/her squads. I think ideally you want to encourage the player to build maybe one Maxim and some Conscripts to do the dirty work. It seems like just the issue is spamming them. Maybe they could have some sort of group debuff or something? But making Conscripts more consistent with their damage seems good too. But if it's too consistent no one will buy Maxim either. It's not about the resources you get out of it, but denying support weapons from your opponent. Scavenge is just a relic of the convert mechanic and advance scavenge used to be a really attractive ability when you we're trading all your munitions away, but these days its just meh... Poorly thought out rework. I like the idea of trading man power. But then adjust scavenge accordingly would be great too. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Matchmaking - constantly against higher lvl opponent. Why?18 Mar 2017, 00:45 AM No one an answer how the match maker works other than Relic with out extensive testing. Think about this logically, if you keep getting matched higher than others keep getting matched lower too. But typically they work like this; Looking for player around your level ....... Cannot find Expanding search Looking for player around your level ....... Cannot find Expanding search Keep repeating and expanding search until match found. One would imagine your inability to find players around your level is because there are none at the time or they are otherwise already in game. In: COH2 Gameplay
