Ostheer is on life support in the lategame as it is and this life support is the Tiger. Kind of a shame for the supposed lategame faction to not be able to compete lategame. Ele+Brummbär+Panzerwerfer+Spotting Scopes would like to have a word with you. And the no late-game thing has more to do with the power level of Jackson, Scott, Rifle blobs on the USF side and the overall power level of Soviet late game than with Ostheer late game being bad. Try playing OKW without Tiger against a meta Soviet doctrine that includes IS2/ISU. It's next to impossible as well if the Soviet player is good enough to not get outplayed constantly. On equal skill levels the Soviet player has a big advantage and all the tournaments haven shown that time and time again. If the Axis (including OKW) player doesn't have a substantial lead he usually loses to 375 armour IS2 + SU85+ Shocks/IL2 loiter (depending on doctrine) + T70 recon+ Katy combo and now 7 Man/SVT Conscripts are another big issue because they are just WAY better than Grens and Volks. If so: - nerf for all heavy tanks except KT and Croc/AVRE - nerf for Scott, Pak Howitzer, Jackson - nerf for SVT Cons - nerf for 7 man Conscripts - change the design of the OKW IR HT - change of cool down on Sexton and Priest (it's too long now considering their price) In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: USF Scott and Pak howitzer nerfs achieved nothing23 Jan 2020, 11:15 AM Jump back to quoted post23 Jan 2020, 11:12 AMRaxzero I'm talking with 1v1 perspective: UKF doesn't need to go out of their way to build mortar pit, it comes with regular teching and OKW Leig's performance is pretty good compared to mortars. USF needs to go for an unfavourable teching route (i.e. You don't have access to Stuart) and pay more to get the pack howitzer or choose a specific doctrine. And despite that, it still has effectively 3 crew members, no retreat function unlike mortars thus easily decrewable. Seriously, I don't think it's fair to compare it to other mortars, the only light artillery it's comparable against is Leig which costs less and comes with a tier that has medics in it. In 2v2 Captain is meta and picked around 75% over LT currently. At the same time Mech or Battlegroup HQ is around 50/50. So these points are really not that relevant for 2v2. Also in 1v1 Mech HQ is still meta so that would be an argument against Leig. In: COH2 Balance
