reinforcement costs are balanced per squad...
grenadier = 30*4 = 120
conscript 20*6 = 120
currently conscripts and grens are roughly even in a fight usually trading squad per squad... if grenadiers were to reinforce at 28 off the bat then conscripts would always bleed more than they do hence to be fair you also have to reduce base conscript reinforcement costs
I think people need to get off the train for how reinforce cost is balanced. Cons and grens trade evenly with no upgrades, equal cover and at vet 0. That is where this forumla has a case. That forumla is also only in play when only small arms are on the field. It gets thrown out the window against any AoE profile weapon. The fact that 7 man cons even get a manpower reduction is laughable ontop of getting the cover bonus and extra DPS and survivability.
Aren't tommies still 28 to reinforce and 270MP now? The forumla doesn't apply there and in a lot of cases. Considering how tommies dumpster volks for 10 MP more, is it really going to upset the game balance if grens aren't bought at the price of some callin infantry?
Was that really unintended? Cause if they had only given that to the 34/76 I think it would be better against infantry than the 85 which would be odd
The 85s main gun isn't that much better against infantry so the mgs put in a lot of work
To my knowledge yes. The tank wasn't in the position of needing a buff at the time, so giving a substantial MG buff was (probably) unintended due to, as vipper said, using the same weapon file.
34/85s haven't received nerfs in years. Off the top of my head I think they've only seen buffs since their unintended MG buff that was at least in 2017 (still ingame btw).
As far as the rest of the comments made, I encourage you to ask for tips should you want them. I can tell you this, both sides have OP and UP units currently and in the past and balance is pretty decent currently in large team games IMO.
I remember when they added scatter to the stuka and it made it twice as OP.
The best rework would for it to launch its rocket in a circle similar to the firestorm barrage. Although I don't know how you'd be able to influence the rocket placement because theirs so few. So unless the AoE was buffed a good margin and the OHK radius lowered along with damage, I don't see how the stuka could be changed from the way it is.
The rocket AoE currently evaporating tanks is just the cherry on top.
Top right of webpage to your profile -> hover over "knox85" -> drop down: select "My files" -> upload -> select file you wish to upload -> give name to file -> file should now appear on list of "My files" page -> Double click the highlighted "name/link" hyperlink (this should open the file in your browser) -> copy the opened pages URL -> go to reply you wish to respond to -> use attach link function -> insert link.
Without responding to the wall of text in OP and just addessing this single point, don't you think since most of your experience is in USF 4v4 where USF is probably the weakest in 4s and 100% reliant on doctrines, it's possible that your experience in other modes doesn't show you how great USF actually is in lower modes?
