Thread: Rifle Company Abilties should be consolidated5 Oct 2018, 00:36 AM I think the underlying problem with the EZ8 is because of 2 reasons. 1. It's AI isn't that of the HE sherman, so why would you build it over an HE sherman if you need AI. 2. If you need AT, which the EZ8 is good at, why wouldn't I just get a jackson that can outclass most armor pieces from my stock lineup. As far as the rest of the doctrine goes I think it just needs a full overhaul. It won't be effective so long as the above 2 points exist, and giving it something great like riflemen field defenses and combining other things would make it borderline if not meta. In: COH2 Balance

If most tank cannons "near" range is 0, it's basically impossible to take advantage of the near range bonuses such as accuracy and penetration unless the barrel is jammed into your opponets tank. You think it may be better to make it a more accessible range like 3-4? Missing point blank shots because you're at 1 meter from target is unlikely, but feels like shit when it happens. In: Lobby

In fact bundle nade is far more devastating compared to firecracker nade Shocks have, and maxim is far worse at stopping sprinting/smoking troops compared to MG42 yet that combo is not a problem for you while shocks nades are? And if you lose the MG42 to soviets? vs the losing a maxim to ostheer? Which is worse, a 4 man maxim, which is now even more subpar, or a 6 man MG42..... In: Lobby

Yeah when the pgren sprint camo meta comes around you tell me. MGs are intended to counter advancing troops, their drawback is setup time and limited firing arc. Both grenades off CD just says you're incapable of smoke and flank and instead just want to run headfirst into an MG, smoke it and then attempt to wipe it for the expense of 2 button clicks. Isn't too hard to believe if you understand the core premise of the patch either. DBP was heavily targeting teamgames, most noteably the nerf of the JT/Ele. 4v4 caters to the most players naturally being the more casual gamemode as well as each match consisting of more players. So when a promise is made to make the gamemode that most people play better, naturally more people come back and play the game. In: COH2 Balance
