Thread: Want to see more love from Relic (event promotion, obs mode)24 Jul 2013, 17:38 PM We're certainly interested in offering more support to tournaments, and we think we've been doing a pretty good job with it through our social accounts. The fact is that our Facebook posts get far more views daily than our website. In terms of in-game support it's something we hope to improve. We're definitely open to suggestions. As to Twitch, we have a good working relationship with them but have no control over what games or casters they feature. I believe that the more viewers someone has the more likely they are to be featured, which tends to be how it works for other networks as well. In: Lobby

Ban away for internet harassment/bullying, that is commendable, but lets not make it a public lynching and go about explaining individual cases on online forums. Should be dealt with in house. Also, I have seeing some distasteful/immature behaviour from Hans on his public stream that would appear to be fanning the flames at times. I'm not calling for any action to be taken of course, just that he may be better off reframing from getting involved as much as possible, as from the outside, tbh it looks like 2 parties are involved here and it is akin to schoolyard squabbling, with everyone else watching on. You are correct. I was attempting to bring clarity since it was being said that the suspension was levied because of a personal relationship. Nope. As I say we've banned hundreds of people from vCoH over the years. We get reports in at info@relic.com and we review replays and other evidence in order to determine what action should be taken. Let me be clear. If a player's enjoyment of CoH 2 is based on making the game worse for other members of the community we may suspend or ban them. The player has contacted us and asked for his case to be reviewed. We have given him our answer. We've only suspended one player from CoH 2 at this point. This isn't something that happens often, so players don't need to worry that if they accidentally slip up and swear at someone they'll be banned. We take these things seriously, and suspend or ban people with great thought and for reasons. If you have been suspended it's an opportunity to review your behavior and decide whether to alter how you play in the future to avoid being banned. Rather than arguing why someone should not be banned, it will probably be more worth your time trying to figure out how to play in a way that makes the game better for people, and not in a way that makes the game worse for everyone but you.
