How many slot item space does the squad have and how many weapons did it pick up before dropping models? Did every weapon require 1 slot space, or did some require 0 space? Thread: Need help with AI threat perception6 Feb 2022, 18:25 PM There is one settings that seems to heavily influence this. In ai_settings/pathing/pathing_detects_opponents_fog_of_war. Description: "If true, the AI will take into account what areas the enemy can not see when path finding. Areas the enemy cannot see are considered safer." I have set this to false for all difficulties and feel that it actually made the AI better. Instead of focusing on capturing territory, it now fights a lot more. I hope it helps. I'm trying to give OKW the Forward Assembly, my problem is the link between the Forward Assembly itself and the weapon racks as they're a separate entity. I have all of the slot_item stuff done and whatnot, it's just the link between the two entities that I don't understand. My Pioneers build the new OKW Forward Assembly but it still comes with the PIAT and Bren LMG. The Forward Assembly spawns the weapon racks through an apply_stamp_action in construction_ext/on_construction_actions. However, these stamps cannot be modded. If you make a custom structure, then you need to remove that apply_stamp_action and use spawn_entity_action instead. Set permanent to False, duration to 9999 and player_owned to True; that will automatically delete it when the Forward Assembly dies. In: Modding and Tools
