The Cromwell's pretty much a Sherman with no pintle and AP rounds only. It's a passable generalist but probably the worst of the five. The M10 has more range, better acceleration, better penetration even without its ability, outright better accuracy and reloads faster. If you're buying a tank to fight vehicles, it blows the Cromwell out of the water. Or would you always get an Easy Eight over a Jackson? In: Lobby

The M10's a better tank destroyer against medium tanks than the Jackson, and waaay better than the slow-firing Firefly. The M5 is too weak to be useful and the M10 feels redundent in a faction that has plenty of decent tanks. Swapping them for art and M8 would improve the commander a lot. Manpower wise they are now where they should be, given their main competition is Paratroopers, which have one more man and more damage (as well as 2x LMG upgrades) I think Rangers are good on live, and 350 manpower is very good value. Whether it's too good remains to be seen. Paratroopers have an extra man, but they also have poor received accuracy. Rangers have 0.9 received damage. Paratroopers have Tactical Assault going for them and that's about it. In: Lobby

They nerffed the Cons to 12 damage (this is back when Penals has flamers if I recall). They increased their accuracy at the same time. Combat Engineers still have old low accuracy high damage Mosins, which is why they suck against everything but Kubels which they butcher. In: COH2 Balance
