Airbone Paratroopers do get ELITE Bazookas from the weapon racks, but they don't get camo or any of their bonuses, still love using them for they can 2 shot 400 HP light vehicles.
They don't get guarenteed penetration though, Recon Paratroopers Bazooka Ambush gives the same bonus penetration as the damage boost they receive, which is 25% |
Why was Airborne looked at but Recon was ignored in 1.1 despite the fact these doctrines work very similar to each other?
Put the Greyhound behind tech tree instead of CP-lock, it comes way too late to be useful.
They did something about Airborne, have a little patience and faith and wwe might just see RS saved from Oblivion, maybe. |

That seems like a good idea. I agree that LT + CPT is too attractive because of the quickness of the 2 free squads, but it should still be doable and that seems like a god way to do it.
Another thing to note is that airborne really needs a rework now that it's plausible to get an at gun and an mg nondoctrinally at the same time, since it makes 40% of the abilities in the doctrine superfluous for the most part.
Recon Support is still atractive due to it being a bundle, as well as having access to Pathfinders with artillery and the Greyhound, Airborne on the other hand will now be seen only for P47s just in case you face a Heavy Tank Destroyer in 2vs2. |

They do drop like flies, out of cover and all the way up to vet3, this is one of the few times I'd recommend an Intel Bulletin, Survival Instincts, to give them at least the same RA as Riflemen. |

Low damage (10) but very high rate of fire and accuracy, specially up close, 6 models alive is quite high DPS vs units out in the open. |

I don't think I'd want to miss out on having 2 Arty Strikes in the Commander though!
That I can agree with, much like how CavRifles need a clear icon too, specially when you give them TommyGuns and they already have the image on their icon. |

Mechanized Arty is one of the best original abilities of the Commander, it was added to the truck so it wasn't lost in time, it should stay.
Bulldozer upgrade is a good thing too, since it allows you to pay some munitions to beef up a Sherman while also giving more utility, making a pseudo bulldozer with it's HE shells. Mechanized is full of stuff because it feels like it's mean to be an early pick, with enough options to adapt to the enemy as the battle goes on, you know? |
