Thread: Is the T70 OP?6 Mar 2020, 14:15 PM If it's weapon-profile would work more than 45-mm-Kanone M1937 it would be better. Less AI with a shift to light-medium AT. Then we can finally reduce the hitbox of german light vehicles or the acc. of SU76 etc. so they get some more survivability. Because T70 gets a counter for that and not of small crews and squads. Edit: T70 arrives at a moment when pressure on enemeys inf is high, it simply it too much at that moment. That is my opinion. Like if Luchs would arrives 3-5 min earlier. In: COH2 Balance

It is what you get for the price and pop. Chruchill, an allrounder also able to fight a Panther with RNG-gods even wins. Able to deal with Schreck-crews and PaKs with 2 shots. Panther, able to fight a Churchill, if you don't want it be half-dead you are able to outrange it, but doesn't really works. Does some DPS, but will never be able to deal with a Piat-Pio or a AT-gun. With actual health and pen stats Churchill has 5 too much range. If you are able to get more than 2 game is over if you don't face an other unbalanced commander/unit. Don't forget no-pop arty. Edit: Such situations become worse in 2vs2+. The actual balance is very good in 1vs1, but has real bad foothills in other game modes. But back, that isn't about the thread. But before we focus on frag-bombs, there are abilities REALLY are too good for their price and other way too worse. In: COH2 Balance

That is true, but Panther needs 17 pop, thats is the the dead verus Inf. One of main-problems of Ost is pop. Your units don't get the real allround kick but you also have no pop, even if you have the ress. In: COH2 Balance

Ram + rockets strafe should be viable and effective, but not a brainless 2 clicks without the opponent having any chance of counterplay. This is why clown car with snipers was killed, because there was no counterplay. Forcing you to first damage a tank before you ram it would allow the opponent to play conservatively and keep his distance to avoid getting rammed. +1 but with that logic some other things have to be changed too. The only thing have to be is consequence for ALL fractions. EDIT: and best thing would be unit-limits, which can be increased by upgrading with tech. That would be fist step of balancing blobbing. e.g. T2: 1 DSHK allowed, build T1 you can build 3. T4 no limit. Same can be made for german HMGs to prevent blobbing. Also Special forces should have limits. Not more than 2-3 Fallschirmspringer or more than 2-3 Commandos without handy-cap. e.g. upgrading and extra side-tech. In: Lobby

No argument there. I dont think the autoattack cooldown should be reduced though. Brummbar is already an instant retreat for infantry and Id fear overbuffing it against them. The unit is more easy to use, in good hands more effective than Brummbär, because of range and good performance. A good example of Preisleistungsverhältnis. Elefant is also a good example, not much better than ISU152, but it also fights verus units with more regular pen and range. Its Preisleistungsverhältnis is worse than ISU152. Or look at Luchs/T70. Which units worth it more? What I mean is, it is ok an unit is worse than an other. But since years hole fraction get worse, while other get buffed or get passive buffes as hell. EDIT: And I am the first wanting HMG42 be nerfed or get a doctrinal unit. All to give a resosn to bring the rest fraction into balance. EDIT: Preisleistungsverhältnis of call-in-abilities. I thought about it for a while and agree projectile speed increases may be problematic. But surely a range increase on the autofire wouldnt make this thing too beastly versus its intended targets, particularly considering its unit cost and T4 cost. give it faster coold down and it will be more effective. It is good it got nerfed in range. But bunker-burst is a joke. 60 range some luck to kill some crew-mebers and then cool-down of doom. Every scot is better in that job. In: COH2 Balance
