Thread: OKW Command Tiger Aura8 Mar 2020, 17:51 PM I played a little bit with Commado-Pnz4. 1. made the 0,9% def. aura beeing an ability for 20sec for 40mun. 2. gave it Vet1 smoke shell like Cromwell and StuG E stun-shot (share cool-down) 3. gave it Vet2 same as Panzer4J 4. with Vet3 it turnes to 0,8% def. aura for 20sec. Now you got a better version, but also less OP. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Unusual Ostheer Suggestion8 Mar 2020, 13:15 PM I don't see a problem with inf (only Osttruppen and Pios maybe need some changes). Ostheer hasn't the long-range non-docs to fight versus allii-tankhunters and can't build enough tanks to be more immune to arty. have \| should - StuG without turret = no flanking \| needs a long-range ability to compensate - Panther with turret, but bad AI = you need support \| needs little less pop so you can have two of them with some inf. e.g. 17 to 15 allowing ~ an extra Pio or better support In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Relief infantry8 Mar 2020, 13:09 PM It is an overal problem of Osttruppen. They have only one weapon-slot and their hit-box still is big with Vet and as weapon-crew they are worst ingame. 1. Osttruppen should have same target-size as Cons => so they are better weapon-crews. As Osttruppen-squad they should get a negative multibler to stay as they are now. 2. They should get more weapon-slots. 3. To allow 2nd their T4 weapon-upgrade should improve their normal weapons (e.g. change 2 of their weapon with Penals gun etc.) instead of LMG42, so they get better as unit while can pic up stuff. The main idea behind old Osttruppen-design. 4. sand-bags should be non-doc for them (make a T1/T2 requirement like Faust has, so you have to have a handy-cap) Nexed: Osttruppen-commanders trench-abity should be fused with hull-down + trench. Also because Relic won't allow large changes. For me that isn't a large change. Changing two existing units with each other isn't large, less change than in actual balance-patch. And the effect on Ostheer's needed revamp would be also greater. Edit: The problem of Ostheer's tech-system and units are obviously, working around doesn't fix the problems. And at the moment nearly every unit of Ostheer lacks behind by changes made years ago, but never touched them with the needed consensus. e.g. - ~~HMG42 in T1 instead of fix Grens and Pios.~~ (now we get early PnzGren... kind of fix, but not what I expected) - StuG E still is a bad unit, moved from cheap tank-hunter to useless doc vehilce while Ostheer is lacking for a Scot-/leIG18 clone in their non-doc line-up. - Like StuG E, Brummbär was moved into a role is never should become. It should be a exclusive since release. that are line-up problems can be fixed by changing the line-up. So the units can offer a real role. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: What if allow Grenadier build trench？7 Mar 2020, 22:39 PM After some test I can say: The bunker now works like trenches, trenches are very RNG. Collission are removed at that enity. If you build bunker it gets *10 received_accuracy_modifier to become 20 (like empty trench). With garrison it becomes 2. Upgrades up to 26. In: COH2 Gameplay
