Thread: Some easy solvable design issues for December patch6 Dec 2017, 13:10 PM hahaha... in German it is "Gefechtsturm" or "Panzergefechtsturm". Battle-Tower or tank-battle-tower. Turret didn't come into my mind, because that would be "Revolver" in German and that is a handgun. Lack of vocabulary. ^^ In: Lobby
Thread: Some easy solvable design issues for December patch6 Dec 2017, 12:54 PM Next thing is to add range and max. angle indicatores for all fraction's tanks. Especially tank-hunter without rotary battle Tower (turrets ^^) benefits from it. Also German hull-down becomes a more tactical aspect. It isn't difficult do make, work of some minuts and all fractions benefit from it. You only have to add an "ui_setfacing" to tank's weapon. I made two new "ui_setfacing" for tanks with and without tower and optimiced their look. If a tank WITHOUT battle-tower is in "hull-down" it gets the "ui_setfaceing" of a PaK, so you can see it can't move. (for hull-down you have to make a clone of 1.hardpoint-weapon and simply change the ui. Put into the hull-down effect action a Remove_weapon, Add_weapon, change_weapon. Thread: Some easy solvable design issues for December patch5 Dec 2017, 22:30 PM Some vehicles, abilities and other units use confusing "fx_munition_name" and produce impact-animations which don't fit with the effect of their performance. That produces an unreal atmosphere and frustrations for new entrants. (and simply looks unprofessional) E.g. the Firefly uses same impact like Jagdtiger but it performes like Panther To bring all similar weapon-types in line with their counter-part of other fractions I made a list of changes depending on their caliber and AI or AT effect. Thread: Jagdspanzer 4 (fix the gun)17 Nov 2017, 21:21 PM Hey, I am looking for a skilled Person to help me to fix the horizontal movement of OKW Jagdpanzer 4. Situation is: The .abp is brocken because the animation uses wrong degrees. The models maximal right and left angle of the main-gun is +15 and -15 degrees like StuG, so it can move the barrel. But it uses a different conversion. +1° is +12° in the settings, so its maximal +15° horizontal movement is on +180°, a half circle. In-game it stays on 1,25°, because the model thinks it is on 15°. (you can see it, small movement). Possible fix: Add a invisible weapon to complete the Animation. 1st is the invisible projetile spawner, 2nd is for the turning animation and has to grow in a linear way to 1st. 1°\|12°; 2°\|24°; 3°\|36° etc. For example: If weapon 1 faces a target on 4°, weapon 2 has to stay on 48° to uses the correct looking angle. Set up a custom "animator_set_variable", type in "build" as variable name and set the variable value to 0,6 for the trench without netting+frame or set it to 0,9 for the trench without netting but with the metal frame on top.
