Really salty after losing to WM mg42 spam, very cheesy way to win if you ask me. I wonder if I shouldn't try to be 'original' anymore and just go with penalspam and lend lease .
Tried Fontenay-le-Pesnel out and it doesn't seem to be a bad map. Doesn't have glaring serious problems but something about it doesn't look right, maybe the water is flowing too fast. I like how garrison are designed to be somewhat awkward to use because that prevents camping with mgs. Sight blockers around the central vp make for easy use of assault units and the frontline is wide and allows for flanking. With the cutoffs being a bit too safe for my liking and muni points and side vps hard to contest it may often develop into a grinding stall on the central vp, but more testing is needed to see if that's the actual case.
I don't like this map that much. It is very open and therefore favors long-range axis heavy tank destroyers. It also doesn't look that pleasing to the eye with all the brown/dark green color palette. Some points (fuels, central vp, cutoffs) have very little cover in and around them. The western vp is just infiltration units heaven with all the garrisons and sight blockers, I imagine inf commandos easily dominating that area. The cutoffs may be a bit punishing for being so exposed.
A ditch on the side of the road towards the southern base is too deep to cross by tanks even if it looks like it could be, so that causes pathing issues and a bit of confusion. Maybe the side points are a bit too separate from the rest of the map.

Tried using overwatch for some non-meta action. Flares gave me much info about who was capping plus the sound helps to get my attention on which flank is getting pushed. Goliaths are fun to play with as well . I'm just under rank 200, he is about 100 with brits.
