While reddit has great strength in that regard, it also has drawbacks when compared to the traditional forums format like ours. Non-linear sorting can be counterproductive and posts tend to devolve towards meme-type bits of cleverness that will attract upvotes. It's also almost impossible to get your post noticed on a popular sub-reddit if you are not already a popular poster. In: Site Feedback
