Thread: Balance patch is not going well31 Oct 2017, 20:29 PM Oh Relic!!!! 99% of the patch balance notes are not needed, or at least are not urgent. Why wasting that energy and effort doing that? Please Relic listen the damn community. Priorities are: - Increase OST Panther DPS or ROF (or reduce price). Not nerfing it. Read well please Relic. - Reduce in some way the cancer pits of the Brits. - Reduce Penals effectiveness. - Increase Conscripts effectiveness. - Remove double Brens, doublé 1919s and double BARs. - Reduce Dhsks effectiveness. That´s it. Doing this, you balance at least 80% of the issues. In: COH2 Balance

Are you implying that this DPS counts for nothing? I guess nobody ever teched up to tier4 and build a Panther just to get the "DPS of a LMG Gren squad." Its nonsense. Just look at all of the other tanks in the game. They can wipe squads with their main gun in a matter of shots. Cromwells, Comets, T34 (both versions), Shermans (all versions), P4s, etc. In: Lobby

Why nerfing an already bad tank as a Panther, and not nerfing other spamable/good tanks: T34/85, Comets, E8s, Regular Shermans, P4s, Cromwells, M4C. Still 4men squads on Grens. Ost DO NOT have everything: - It´s the only faction that dont have any kind of light tank. - They dont have any TD for late game stages (besides Elephant, but its behind a doctrine). - Their infantry only consist of 4men squads and has very poor survavility in the late game stages. - They always loose infantry to infantry engagements. Always ends retreating. And if your infantry sucks, you cant cap points easily and you suffer from low Muni and Fuel. - Arty sucks (pwerfer) compared to Katys, Matress, Calliope and StukasZuFus. - Stock Tanks (P4 and P5) are expensive, low damage, poor accuracy and UP compared to Brits and Sovs. In: COH2 Balance

Sure, firefly is great at what it does, but it and panther fill different roles and you would get rekt trying to use it in he same way as many people use panthers. It's like saying, "volks should be more like soviet scout snipers". It just doesn't make sense. Panther has almost 0 anti inf performance also. Which is the role of the Panther for you in this game? That also means making it slow as fuck and no blitz and no armor vet buffs and way less health. I wouldn't use that instead of live panther but hey. For hunting and destroying tanks, I prefer Firefly rather that Panther. Everyday of the week. Even without blitz, armour buffs, speed, etc. In: COH2 Balance

Sure, competent devs wouldn't allow everything to be broken to start with, but better late than never. Of course, there's STILL the whole issue of nerfing things based on how they perform against the original two factions in the game, Ostheer & Soviets, which simply don't belong in the same game as the USF and OKW. Then the Brits came along, and the devs tried to somehow make sure that they neither blatantly overpower the Eastern Front factions nor blatantly lose to Western Front factions. CoH2 is a mismanaged mess of a game. That is exactly what I think of this game. In: COH2 Balance
