Thread: HM-38 120mm Mortar Squad is OP23 Nov 2021, 01:03 AM and again, it is 340 mp mortar with long deloy, depart time with 5 mens squad. Is that enough for this survive feature ?. beside 340mp, the damage is same with normal mortar, range and firing arc is selling point. By the time it come, WEH mortar has counter barrage in vet 1. ISG with accuracy barrage is biggest 120mm enemies since flare was remove. In: COH2 Balance

Would love to hear top player's opinions on this but the top 200 popularity ranking is definitely not representative of its strength. as top 100 1v1/2v2 USF, Mechanized no longer good in 2v2. even 1v1 without a specific build like Rifle - wc51 -Rife - fast Lieu - call in Mechanized rifleman - 2 M20 to apply heavy presure - M5 stuart > close the game. Cut down M4 76 RoF and M4 75 bulldozer upgrade is terrible, Mechanized based on P/P unit. Without those thing, they can complete with current combine (M4 HE + M36). Yes, it could be the 2nd strongest commander but it also not easy as well. In: COH2 Balance

Its bouncing RNG is way too much I've never seen a tank bouncing lots of AT even on sides, rear, Faust or same level heavy class shots. They don't give much exp per model, but they vet up incredibly quickly - I've seen vet 2 within a few minutes. If they hit vet 2 early, which they often do, it's quite easy to snowball into a stronger build; and due to the vet 2 bonuses (RoF, RA, passive healing), they can maintain a large MP drain that can be tricky to get out of. Other than that, Paths are fine (although boring to play against/as). Slow down Vet gain (or increase exp rewards), and they'll be pretty much inline with every other unit in the game. path didn't have passive healing in vet 2. to be fair, as long as you can break LOS and closing in/ forcus fire Path, you win the game.
