The su76 AT was also nerfed since then though. The issue was mostly that it scaled incredibly to spam su76s because they worked well en mass against heavy Armour AND was great at barraging soft targets. Its since been tuned to be worse against heavies. Very least we could look at a cost reduction on the barrage, even with vet Additionally, make it's damage 160 with vet and it's barrage use its own weapon type so that barrage doesn't have unintended buffs. The game uses formula based mostly around the 160 damage base for AT and the su76 going up to 140 is quite fucky. It makes it difficult to use in conjunction with other AT weapons. In: COH2 Balance

Economic choices are interesting and define the factions. Soviet only pay 200, but have no means to get it anywhere but base non doc. USF have a pop cap but can move it where they need it. Ukf Tommy medics is broken effecient, okw have it tied to tech BUT also have alternatives, multiple squads including volks self heal eventually and sturms can drop crates. Every faction is different and late war Germany having to make concessions in order to keep their men healthy is extremely on point for the faction. In: COH2 Balance

It should actually be nerfed to 50 range and lower penetration and have a 10 fuel cost reduction so it can be used as emergency AT vehicle Nothing says emergency AT like a 400hp 50 range 120 damage casemate that might bounce the enemy tank... A Puma without the smoke, mobility, turret or stun ability would DEFINITELY be WAY more attractive than it is now.... In: COH2 Balance
Thread: SU-76 buff? 19 Jul 2021, 04:47 AM I'd just give it an upgrade when t4 is built that bumps its gun up to zis levels AT A COST PER UNIT and maybe slap another 80hp onto it. Call it the su76 (yea the model in game is already the M variant but I won't tell if you don't) I also always thought it would be fun to tune it so that it has no/low rear armour so that infantry that get behind it can decrew it. A munitions cost per shot would go a long way to ensuring that saturation isn't an issue. Vet is so important that being able to erase it should require more than a bit of MP in upkeep beyond the initial acquisition In: COH2 Balance

You've never had to repair something? Never wanted to lay mines or a demo in peace? Close on a building with an mg? Smoke ALWAYS has uses. And soviet don't always have smoke. It's an option. You know what was there before? 1 extra shell. Lame as fuck. Now there's an ability that adds depth and tactical options. Fucking hell. You lot would have the game reduced to a simulation with all calls to remove any tactical elements and options one by one. If you don't like smoke don't use the smoke. Save the munitions! You still have a great howitzer. There is no commisar behind you with his negant pointed making you use the smoke barrage instead of the normal barrage. The smoke barrage doesn't replace the normal barrage. In: COH2 Balance
