Played a game on the forest there where 2 Wehr built about 4 mgs then and a few mortars then both air dropped fuel until kt was up, I think it was 10 min (4v4) pushed to base, massacre. Funny as hell... ON TOPIC I like the all the trucks alive thing, its a great unit if supported and I feel like losing trucks should be punished more (especially since attacking a schwere can really bleed you if the enemy isnt afk) only to be nailed with a kt while you lick your wounds is pretty nasty... |
Ive had my Wehr sniper retreat through double guards and escape with over half health. Ive also (multiple times seen my rakketten In a building return fire on a soviet sniper (who missed btw) and nail both models its funny how this game works sometimes... Tho I do agree a flank on a sniper should be the end of him, and its counters really should idk... Counter them.... |
Well I think you and the rest of the people who have a problem with the T34 are wrong. The reason people have problems using it effectively is because they are using it wrong. You don't build 1 T34 and take it out on the field like a P4 and expect to make a difference, you just lose it. You have to husband them until you have 5 or 6 and then go on a deep penetration raid destroying vital buildings before retreating to repair.
You say the T34 is not a Tier 4 unit, but I believe it is solely due to its cost. "Quantity has a quality all its own", is a quote attributed to Stalin. The Tier 4 quality of the T34 is its cost, not its combat attributes.

No need to change the only tank option the soviet have outside of limited doctrinal choices turns out the best way to use them is to not fight! O guess you just need to hope that the enemy didnt lay any mines... Or do something with that BOATLOAD of resources while you were building and army that isnt any use against the enemy's....
At least the axis have unreliable at or this could be a disaster.... |

Its a flanker that lacks the speed to get around a medium (p4 or panther), the pen to ACTUALLY get through the ass armour on the tanks it CAN flank, it lacks the durability to get around ANYTHING (the only AT that will bounce ever is the stug and a p4 at long range iirc, could be wrong tho its been awhile since I looked at the stats) It also has massively rng AI performance (literally wipe or miss most of the time) it doesnt matter that its obsolete when it comes out because its cheap! Its like being able to make a single con model that is only armed with a bayonet for 100mp, it doesnt matter that I cant do anything..its cheap! Sure trying to use it will lose you resources but its cheap! Sure its your only non doc option for a "tank" but its cheap! |
I used a it recently on steppes. Knew where the enemy was driving up their katyushas and built 3... Bye bye katys XD but aside from that one instance they blow hard. Remove the decrew and maybe give them something like a button type ability (maybe a price increase?) or at least a centaur type target ability so they can beat a rifle squad if the player tries instead of being a waste of everything... |
Does the .50 have increased received accuracy as well or is that just the AT/howitzer?
All support weapons have a +25% received accuracy but iirc the American crew weapons have (or had) a bug that they had a higher one or something like that but at any rate the 50 suffers from axis squads burst damage potential that comes from making sure that 6 man squads is balanced (higher per model dps) vs a 4 man weapon team that is literally a bullet magnet AMD suppresses as well as gasoline douses flames leads to a shite weapon... Thats also the latest arriving... And in an AT free tier.... |

Hes saying that the 50 cal has 5 men supporting it so his argument is that if the its supposed to be as good or better than the mg42 then the 42 needs a 5 man squad as well... Hes completely ignoring that the American mg comes later AND costs more. When the mg42 moved from its cheap first tech building to a no tech t0 it got a price increase... Im curious as to how much the 50cal would be if relic did the same? 340? 300 at least but it doesn't preform as such.... Being the latest fielding machine gun and the least durable shouldn't it preform the best? Maybe like the old dshk? Or like the Vickers at least... But more pen |
