Thread: Playing Brits is awesome now...10 Mar 2016, 21:53 PM I've never used emplacements that much, though in general I think you'll find they are a way of getting around the inherent manpower problems the Brits had without infantry Vet. Lose a model and it costs to replace, lose 95% of a pit and it cracks on as normal and just needs some engineer time. Now that Vet 2 IS and Vet 3 engineers are a bit more survivable you will hopefully see a more mobile playstyle become the meta. In: COH2 Gameplay

Little 25 ton tank has the same armour as a Churchill and a better AI gun to boot. One of the last units in the game I would consider to be underpowered.... In: OKW Strategies

Thread: Road to Kharkov...10 Mar 2016, 17:31 PM My problem map, or the problem map I don't have vetoed... Can't remember the last time I won on this one, from the South seems particularly hard. OKW or Ostheer, doesn't seem to matter, particularly nasty game against the low level Axis players that dig in. No room to flank, no good locations for a pit and Axis armour are always front on. I'm even considering a 17pdr somewhere central... Please save me from this! Any tips? In: UKF Strategies
Thread: Give UC cap10 Mar 2016, 16:12 PM Having built at least one UC in every game I can't recall one making it past the 10 minute mark unless they sat in base rotting or were turned into command vehicles and wrapped in cotton wool. Not sure how many games I've played but a grand total of 2 UCs have made it to Vet 1, one of which was instantly vapourised by a bastid AT gun. Increasing the dps by 50%, from not a lot at all, won't help this. If you got Vet on your recent UC shenanigans then the UC challenge is still open.... Also I've yet to see a UC suppress anything, do you have a replay? In: COH2 Balance
