Thread: Ideas on Bringing the UKF into Balance17 Mar 2016, 00:53 AM The game is balanced for 1v1 play, and at the top level at that unfortunately, so I'm not sure your ideas have merit. You just don't see emplacements in top level play and the emplacements commander seems to be designed more for multiplayer games. Although there are a few players who are very good with the Brits very few of the top 150 seem to touch them with a bargepole. I've never seen the emplacements commander used in competitive play ( though Dusty did click on it by accident in one game and lost inside 10 minutes!). I think you might be better off asking for help in combating emplacements rather than asking for balance changes, or maybe try playing the Brits yourself ( according to your playercard you play them 0.6% of the time and OKW about 50% of the time). Bear in mind that brace only gives warning of an attack and allows a response from the player. Once it wears off any axis player has plenty of time to take out the emplacement. Counter-battery is easily countered by simply shooting and scooting. In: COH2 Balance

A lot of American English is actually just older English, they didn't change it after the English terrorists became uppity over some tea. We did, hence the speeeling differences. Been meaning to for ages just for the Valentine smoke - though I'm sure once I rediscover how quickly they die I'll throw it away again. Saying that the Val might be the answer to pesky 222s - think it comes out too late but worth a whirl. "why should I go for Churchill when with the same resource (including the tech for anvil) I can get two Cromwells and earlier?" Think I'd just about rather have a Comet than 2 Cromwells, mainly due to the amount of micro you need with them. No way on earth I'd swap a Churchill for two Croms though. Even if it had twice the firepower missing out on the squish wouldn't be worth it. In: COH2 Balance

Well it would have armour of 170 or below, would have a lot of HP, be either very slow or stationary and wouldn't be able to fire back. Now the Churchill can fire back and has a little bit more armour but other than that might as well have been designed by Hans Von Seekt. In: COH2 Balance

I'd happily pay 250 fuel for something that was a useful impact unit ( and to differentiate it from the Comet). Even if they reduced it's current cost considerably I'm not sure I'd build it as it seems to be counterproductive in many ways. In: COH2 Balance

Frankly the overall vibe from the community would make the population of the ladies toilets are the World's cattiest drag queen convention blush. Prima donnas really doesn't cut it.
