Thread: Relic: Week 1 Update to the Balance Mod6 May 2016, 04:27 AM After playing the OKW changes, I think it's pretty good. I wasn't ever tempted to get many schreks since sturms are expensive to maintain. Relic obviously saw what was happening in games, where OKW were easily steamrolled. TL;DR - I didn't think I'd like schreks on sturms, but I actually think they work. In: Lobby

If the opponent goes for the pit first you can actually kill it now. As for the Bofors: Distract the Bofors with a squad. Usually there are a lot of craters around you can hide in. I recall being very frustrated that my Goliaths didn´t kill emplacements when blowing up in their face before. So I must have gotten them there somehow. I appreciate that they took a step in the right direction with this. At least now you know that the emplacements left without Bofors support go down quicker. I never had a problem with getting rid of mortar pits on most maps. You can just walk up to them and chuck flame grenades in them, or even over a hedge or fence where they are usually badly placed. If only I saved a replay of a game in ettlebruck station two nights ago. Hopped into the main building with three double piats and the passing tigers health diminished to nothingness. It was pretty fabulous. Also, yes mgs are swiftly dealt with too. What else could I be kidding about? You know that piats are the only handheld AT that can hit the rear armour from the front? Also I'm not the only one who does it. I face double piats all the time as axis. They are a pain in the butt crack. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Tommies need a damage nerf4 May 2016, 22:19 PM UKF is relics golden faction. No chance that will happen. They did it already and then rebuffed them shortly after. Only chance is nerfing PIAT. When I play as UKF I put double PIAT's on all squads and it deals with everything from mg to tigers. They are literally the most damaging weapon in the game and the cheapest. I think that is a bigger issue with UKF. In: COH2 Balance

Its 10 more mp and 15 less fuel. Fuel is a more restricted resource in this game. Also you conveniently forgot faster ROF and cool down, better moving accuracy, better AOE. 60% more rear armour. You're sharing strange reasoning here with some of your fellows. everything should be one shot or instantly countered by another unit once built. Ostheer T3 counter Bofors, I have no doubt in that. Pumas as well. Ah, also, vs the fortification commander, use your brain, don't focus 1st the mortar pit or Bofors but the forwarded assembly, you'll see it does miracles. You are missing the point of why I find it ineffective (the mortar incendiary rounds). The cooldown is long enough that the emplacement is fully repaired in that time. So no I'm not insisting on one-shot counters, obviously. Also there is the problem that the halftrack itself has to close in pretty close to fire. After it has done this once, it doesn't then return to that boundary again without being met with a lot of resistance. And seeing as its made of paper it swiftly explodes. In: COH2 Balance
