General: A decent commander focusing mostly on infatry.

Suggestions:
CP 0 M2 Flamethrower

Although a good upgrade that become even better with earlier arrival of Ro.E., they unit start rather slow and thus the ability is not very good until later in the game.

I would suggest that the flamer upgrade is replaced with "demolition sapper" (renamed "assault sapper") the unit that used to come with Aver call-in package. The unit could be CP 0-1 start with 4-5 members armed with Enfield's (no cover bonuses/penalties) able to upgrade with flamer. Abilities could include heavy gammon bomb, and "coordinated incendiary fire" calling an incendiary barrage.

CP 3 Infiltration Commandos

Although the unit comes with a different name it end up being the same as commandos and only the method of deployment changes. (for suggestion on commando changes see Commandos).

I would suggest that this designed differently. Unit now spawn with 4 armed with Enfield, unit does not come with camo (or has static camo). One could add the option to upgrade with 3 Thompsons taking all slot and adding +1 member become closer to Rangers.

That would make 3 commando option offer different things.

CP 6 Vehicle Crew Repairs

One could consider swapping the ability the valentine as call in unit without the "command" aspect of the vehicle although I would see valentine moved to special weapons.

We didn't want to nerf/remove the flares because at the time the commander already took some hits, mostly with the Command Panther nerfs. I learned from the past and I'm always against more than 2 changes (nerfs) to any unit or commander at once, and wait for the results before changing more.

By now we know that SpecOps is still pretty good, especially with the recent rise in popularity of Radio Silence, so it's safe to have a look at the flares. They will very likely get changed next patch.


As for the KV-1, the damage reduction removal (and increasing stock health accordingly) should be enough of a small adjustment to make it a bit less oppressive. I think that's all it needs and it should still be competitive afterwards. In any case, all commanders are going to be looked at in the upcoming patch so if they need something in return, the door is open.

If the timing remain the same its base armor should be reduced and be moved to vet bonus instead.

It already start with more armor than the higher tech/more expensive Churchill and a heavy tank should be getting durability vet bonuses instead of mobility ones.

Understood, this ability breaks maps IMO. It limits what mappers can do from the perspective of having flexible design decisions because we cant really use anything that engineers can just destroy with this kind of ability. Its an aility that truly needs to be removed. This is also not a debate, its an unfortunate fact.

Not a single person that I'm aware of condiders the maps much, if at all, when considering faction design decisions. This is to no ones benefit.

As far as understand the ability was available to RO so that they can have an easier time to place emplacements.

For some bizarre reason the mod team made it available to other units although I did point out the issue at the time.

In your higher CD and MU cost while making available only to RO. E. would not be enough?

Is there are other solution that someone could mod for making emplacements easier to place?

Let me guess - Elefant and Jagdtiger outranging and penetrating everything almost all the time and the Panther bouncing most shots, being able to brawl with Allied heavies and being highly mobile is fine though, right?

Why are you complaining that allied TDs deal so easily with P4s then all the damn time?

Being hit and penetrate with a probability close to 100% when out-ranged by 20 dose not really qualify as fighting.
It more like target practice.

And since your math are bad:
1.000 HP that KV-1 has are more 640 HP that PzIV has.
A panther is 490/185 fuel is more than 350/130 that is a SU-85
