Bear with me, what's are the most appropriate counters to Brit simcity? Panther? Elefant? Atgun? Or Stuka, mortar, Brumbar, Pwerfer, Lieg. Good luck damaging panther on hulldown with the Scott, 80mm mortar or katyushas. Someone mentioned Atgun, lol? since the panther will be there already with better armor and range that's mean the only support you can provide to the atgun are infantry units and we all know how infantry without tank in support do well on the late game! The only thing that make the current hulldown balanced today is that its not used, once people start using it that's just going to ruin the game. The best counter of hull done tank is "heat barrage" or timed fused barrage both available to Allies. You can also use ground attack atgs. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Commander Update Beta 2021 - Ostheer Feedback14 Apr 2021, 11:13 AM Incendiary bombing need to be looked at. It damage seem to good (if not too good) but the abilities is still inferior to incendiary barrage maybe it has to do with the AOE/Scatter/number of shell. The indicator also is confusing since it a line and not an area. Imo one could be changed to an area abd have the flight originate from base at higher speed and possibly reduce explosion damage making the ability more about area denial than initial damage. In: COH2 Balance

And it is a mess of various time periods. The game has infantry with uniforms up to 1943 and since 1943 we have homeless people for an unknown reason they turned out to be engineers of the Red Army. Katyusha produced in 1941, but there is no KV as the main one, only as a commander. ... Glad to see that we agree now try to explain that to people who claim "multiplayer is set in 1944-45." You'll be glad to hear that it couldn't be any less relevant what "first" of anything did, because multiplayer is set in 1944-45. The game covers a large area of time, if it was 1944 to 1945 one would not see KV-2 as Soviet unit. Fact remains that Shtrafbats sustain very heavy causalities and in many cases where used as cannon fodder. In: COH2 Gameplay

I'll see if i can dig out the book i read about it. I doubt that was case the through out the war. The first penal battalion send to combat lost 2/3 of its strength in 3 days of attacks, so I doubt anyone would give the them best equipment and then sent them to die. In: COH2 Gameplay
