It really makes no sense to compare to T34/76. I know that you know that by yourself, why even saying that? Once one chooses a commander one has to choose between building a stock unit or a doctrinal unit. So one does choose between T-34/76 and 76mm or Vanillas sherman and 76mm if playing USF. In live 76mm Sherman is very effective tank with very fast firing Gun with ROF at vet 3 of 3.26 and can even fire faster with radio net. The unit does deserve a nerf either on base stat or on vet bonuses. In: COH2 Balance

So you should compare AI and AT values as well as survivability. Anything else makes no sense. T34/85 needs no nerf it is surely cost efficient but not op. In the end it has to fight Panthers too. It is just about right, a good brawler tank. Τ-34/76 also fights PzIV compare 76MM with T-34/76 and you will see it fine. T-34/85 is one of the most cost efficient tank in the game, it is used as benchmark all main battle tank should be buffed. In: COH2 Balance

Sherman 76mm is not balanced against T-34/85 because it not fighting T-34/85 it is fighting PzIV and it replacing T-34/76. Even if it balanced against T-34/85 it would mean that T-34/85 needs slight nerf because it one of the most cost efficient main battle tanks. In: COH2 Balance

In most games you'll need your core infantry before then, at least in 4v4. Maybe they're a better unit in 1v1. If these are 1 CP, Assault Grens should be also. There is no ninja nerf. Raid section where CP 1 from that start: "Raid Section 1 CP; Starts as a 5 Man squad. Does not get the received accuracy cover bonus of regular infantry sections, but also does not get the weapon penalties when fighting out of cover. Captures/decapatures points 33% faster over normal sections. Builds items 50% slower. Can be upgraded with a Vickers K LMG. Has access to Fast-Throwing Molotovs and Sprint abilities. And already saw nurfs being done to UKF for recent years. If that bothers ppl in this forum, fine. So be it. God bless UKF with where they are going. I 100% agree on the fact that faction rework is needed. But meanwhile UKF needs some buff to compensate current situation. The balance of the faction and Commander changes are separately issues and should be treated separately. Commander changes should focus on bringing as many commander as possible to the meta and not fixing faction balance issues with commander abilities. If one uses commanders to fix the faction problem one simply hides the issues under the rag without actually solving while increasing the dependence of the faction to crutch commanders. As uncouterable as Soviet mortar flares are or White star flares are or PF flares are or MOP flares are. There plenty of unit with on map flares that are actually cheaper the the ones C.Panther gets.
