Cons ability could be removed since it is obviously better to have the ability as a global one instead of beeing bound to an unit. Looking at loadout picking rates (200+ and Top200 across all game modes) Tank hunter still could get a buff after all. It already has been buffed, it got ML-20 replaced by B4 and PTRS a CP earlier. The problem with commander has little to VC and imo there are other abilities that should be looked at (PTRB/camo). I personally would rather see "mark target" in TH thanks VD. In: COH2 Balance

I feel like CP0 Raid Sections are the only way that you can make them work in a doctrine that also has Commandos. And in your opinion bolstered IS are not oppressive before minute one? Locking behind Tier 1 help very little especially since the unit get weapon upgrade at T3 for free give more reason for player to rush T3 which is quite cheap for UKF if they skip tech (which in these case they do not need). CP 0 raid section are simply OP regardless of commandos or which will probably see little action if one spams RS anyway. The unit and commander has issues but further buffing one of the most popular commanders by giving access to 5 men section at CP will not fix any of the all these problems. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Commander Update Beta 2021 - OKW Feedback21 Apr 2021, 14:38 PM PF without the G43 upgrade are completely UP and not worth 270 manpower there are not even worth 250 manpower. The upgrade is simply to expensive and reduces the MU available to use the advertised abilities PF have like grenades and flares. Actually one has to choose if he will upgrade with G43 his PF or use the grenades/flare and be stuck with an UP unit. Worth noting is that flares are not related to G43s but are vet ability. ATG-Ambush is a powerless ability for one commander ability slot that fits the meaning of the word "Shock". But that is just one example. I posted because I just wanted to remark that he was arguing thematically on his second post while you were answering about balance. Vehicle detection does fit tank hunters commander but it would be a nerf since it is already available to PTRS conscripts. Imo ATG ambush is not actually powerless, it is potent with the first strike bonuses. It is one of my favorite Soviet abilities, it also already available to 5 commanders in the patch (if not mistaken). In: COH2 Balance

Combination Elephant + spoting scope + recon overflight + AT strafe is so good. This commander is picket 2x more, then second one and overshadow all others commanders. I suggest replace recon overflight with Puma. Puma over recon would be a buff. A puma with scopes would also be rather broken. Strafe seem to be the biggest issue at the moment. In: COH2 Balance

There are other less powerful abilities which could have been taken instead of Vehicle detection. It fit the theme as much as it fit the theme of "Shock Motor Heavy Tactics" the only other commander that is is available in which also happens to be a "Shock" commander. If you have another suggestion for a more suited ability that is of equal power and fit the commander better, feel free to provide. If you have a commander in mind where VD fits better thematically also feel free to provide your suggestion. In: COH2 Balance

Other "mainline" doctrinal infantry choices are CP0, do Raid sections actually provide any esoteric functionality that makes their delaying necessary? Yes, they are superior to the mainline infatry having more durability and DPS, no cover restriction, free weapons upgrade/grenades. They also allow UKF to rush to T3 and get tank out without having to invest anything in infatry tech yet have access to all of it (bolster/grenades/weapons). In: COH2 Balance

I generally agree with some of your point but I have to point out that sprint comes from camo and not G43. The combo is available in Jagger infatry though one of the most popular 1vs1 commanders.
