To make thing even worse WFA engineering are better fighting units and vet faster further increasing the repair speed.... Imo minesweepers should take all weapon slots, be the only sources of repair speed veterancy and provide XP with repair done units. Then engineers will become either fight oriented or repair oriented. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Confused about PTRS26 Apr 2017, 13:06 PM Not matter what the current situation is confusing for players. If there is a need for 2 different weapon just call on PTRD and the other PTRS their main difference is the magazine clip and the muzzle. Currently the 3 different weapons: 1) Use different curves with conscripts one being better close and worse far and the Penal one using a different one (ration to Guards one is different). 2) Weapon behave differently vs vehicles having very different deflection damage. Simple solution are better and there simple solution for this mess. (and I am not blaming the moders team for this) In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Confused about PTRS26 Apr 2017, 09:41 AM There are 3 different types of PTRS in the game with completely difrent properties so it is actually confusing. 1) Guards PTRS 2) Conscripts PTRS 3) Penal PTRS AI in sort. Guards and Conscripts PTRS are good vs Infantry with conscripts PTRS a bit weaker. Penal PTRS is weak vs infantry. AT in sort. Guards Penals PTRS are better vs AT due to higher deflection damage. Conscripts PTRS is weaker. To make thing even more complicated: Guards and Penal PTRS drops, while conscript's one does not. To make thing even more complicated: the type of PTRS a units get when they pick a Penal PTRs depend's on the unit. Normal infantry get the Penal PTRS elite infantry get the Guard's PTRs. In numbers the DPS of PTRS vs infantry (not vehicles) range 0/10/20/30/40 conscipt_ptrs_41_mp-------1.40/1.27/1.14/0.79/0.44 guard_troop_ptrs_41-------1.37/1.20/1.03/0.86/0.68 penal_ptrs_41_mp----------0.44/0.37/0.31/0.24/0.17 X 1.5 conscipt_ptrs_41_mp-------2.10//1.91//1.71//1.19//0.66 guard_troop_ptrs_41-------2.06//1.80//1.55//1.29//1.02 penal_ptrs_41_mp----------0.66//0.56//0.47//0.36//0.26 (All this make things unnecessary complicated and imo are a bad design. Yes a firefly has accuracy of 8%/7%/5% and get x1.1 from commander and x1.3 from vet 3. It has a 0.75 moving multiplier. That means that a vet 3 firefly with a commander moving has a 120%/105%/75% chance to score a hit on kubel and it you add collision the chance is even higher. In: COH2 Gameplay
