Thread: instead of adding a fifth man to grenadier19 Jan 2018, 10:58 AM Imo 5 man in Ostheer infantry could be introduced as a doctrinal ability. The G43 ability could replace all k98 add a 5 member to gren and Pgs and be about SVT/Garand level. Shreck and Lmg upgrades would be mutual exclusive. Ostheer would then trade DPS for durability. It would then have to be move to commanders without access to super heavies. In: COH2 Balance

There has to be one benchmark else you get monstrosities like USF mortar and Penals at "JUNE 21st BALANCE UPDATE". Benchmark used to be Ostheer. If you want to the Comet to serve as benchmark then all units need to be balanced with UKF in mind, which is rather difficult due to their mess up design. In: COH2 Balance

This exactly what is wrong with the Patches. They buff one unit/ability and in the next patch the new buff on units are based on the previously buff ones. Example: Ostheer was the benchmark and not most of their unit are left behind. E8s should not be buffed because of M4C. Both unis should be balanced in comparison with the Ostheer PzIV.
