Thread: Late game mg bunker spam15 Jun 2018, 21:12 PM Yeah, I have noticed a definite increase in ost bunker spamming (I do play larger team games though). Although they are easy to destroy, its the time they buy the defender while you destroy it. 15 seconds is a lot of time to halt an attackers flank or to move your units to assist the point. Really, I see no reason why MG bunkers should not cost popcap, even a token amount like 3 would be something. Also bunkers pretty much hardcounter airborne infantry being dropped on points behind the front lines. In: Lobby

Thread: worst patches in coh2 history14 Jun 2018, 19:03 PM It's funny looking back on all this though and seeing how the game has evolved. Remember the days before they patched the Su76 and it was one of the worst units in the game and served no purpose whatsoever? Still, they must be getting something right as the axis/allies ratio when searching is much more balanced. I remember the days where it was 95% axis. This of course became the exact opposite during any state of allied OP/bugs such as the machine gun sherman etc. take this with a pinch of salt as I am a 3v3/4v4 scrub In: COH2 Balance
Thread: worst patches in coh2 history12 Jun 2018, 19:13 PM Machine gun sherman and stuart. I just left if people used it-regardless of whether they were enemy or ally. Tiger Ace when it was first introduced-came off the game for a long time during those dark days. Katyusha doing insane damage against structures (2 could destroy a OKW truck in one barrage or near enough if I remember correctly). OKW truck pushing/crushing in the early game. Volkshreks-no explanation needed. B4 artillery with precision strike. The vehicle pathing 'fix' which ended up with tanks reversing everywhere unless heavily micromanaged. Still, Relic has given this game more support than it probably deserves (financially speaking) so I don't begrudge their mistakes too much. I just waited for them to be fixed. In: COH2 Balance

That's the reason why 4v4 and this DoTA and LoL shit is so popular LoL and DoTA are infinitely more successful than CoH2 so perhaps there is something to learn. 1v1 is a total snorefest that is decided by arbitrary factors like rng as much as skill. You mess up once and you might have lost the whole game. 1v1 is great for casters, streamers and the highly competitive. However, they simply do not represent the majority playerbase and therefore the majority of the potential income. In: COH2 Gameplay

Kv1 make good meat shields but when you can almost get 2 t34s for that price it just isn't worth it. B4 can't hit anything these days. In: Lobby
