the only prupose of Counter Barrage is to remove the artillery threat in the battlefield, so you can focus on microing your tanks/troops. Like it or not is a useful thing
Yes thats exactly the problem. |
I don't like the Counter Barrage ability, no micro counter barraging shouldn't be in the game imo.
Agreed. High reward abilities which require no micro need to be phased out. |
I'd hardly call Dane a pro, hes a uber axis bias player that cries foul whenever his opponent bests him, usually not blaming himself or saying his opponent beat him. Say something like "The old OKW KT win button was broken and deserved to be nerfed." and he delivers you a perma ban.
I'm not really clued up on players and streamers but is he the one with that German accent? |
I ask one thing. You have problems with pakwalls...
Where are your land matresses?
Just that
Nerfed and in a doctrine. |
I think, as others have mentioned above, the real problem is USF/UKF balance issues rather than OKW/Ost issues.
Hopefully this will be changed with the coming patch to an extent. |
Just realised that this thread was created THIS YEAR UNIRONICALLY.
|
A thought regarding the mortar for UKF. Do away with the emplacement design (or put into a doctrine etc) and replace with a mobile mortar which has multiple types of shells available (like the pit did in the aplha) BUT has a longer deploy/packup time, making it vulnerable to rushes.

Forgot the Pershing in that list.
I'd count the Pershing as more of a medium tank in truth, an overpriced medium tank at that. |

That and all of their heavier vehicles like the KT, JT and Sturmtiger feeling crippled, again, at least to me.
Tbh I think all the heavy vehicles in the game save for the Tiger I and the Churchill (base version) are pretty gimped. |
There is also a matter of time between click and effect.
For USF its good couple of seconds before launchers get the smoke to where it needs to be, same with cromwell smoke, PT however is instant and on the tank.
Most of the time it is simply better to keep driving than try and cover your retreat with the smoke launchers. Although I know they are really intended for offensive purposes. |
