Thread: Any news on the next patch?27 Dec 2015, 20:26 PM I'm probably opening a can of worms here but I am eager for the next patch to arrive. Playing team games is quickly losing it's attraction for me when facing the OKW. They seem to outman and outgun you at almost every stage. I had one of the best and most diverse games I had played the other day. The match was highly contended from the outset. They used PzIV's/Stugs/grens/Pzgrens/panthers/brumbars/Mg's/mortars/Paks/Pzwerfers the whole shebang. In retrospect I believe it was due to it being a all-Wher team that this game was so enjoyable, seeing what they would come up with next was half the fun...and the challenge. Against OKW it's normally volks, rinse, repeat. Add shreks to flavour. Each time you push them off but they gain vet and you bleed MP like a pig. I'm not so much complaining about the OP aspects of the OKW but the LACK OF DIVERSITY their units encourage, it's the boredom of facing them that I find stifling. But whatever, I know this forum isn't exactly known for its impartial fan-base so I'll probably just get abuse and the good ol' 'L2p' but we all know that change of some sort is needed. "Can be decrewed" is about as much a pro for the pak43 as it is for the mg42. But by that logic the vickers mg would be destroyed completely.....so yeah I'd rather have something decrewed than utterly destroyed. In: COH2 Balance

Basically people argueing whether giraffes or rattlesnakes are better and why. wut? People are making good (and bad) points on this thread. Most people believe the 17pdr is in need of a buff. Thread: B-425 Dec 2015, 22:24 PM Jump back to quoted post25 Dec 2015, 22:22 PMGbpirate There are a few things in coh2 that are broken: instant wiping machines (AVRE, Sturmtiger, B4) and things that are instant click-wipes (divebomb). Divebomb is stupid because it counters field artillery. Does it still have the insanely huge AoE against infantry? Anyway, B4 acting like a traditional artillery to some degree is a good idea. a 3 round barrage with long reload would be a good idea to make it balanced. Doing something with Stuka divebomb would be great, i.e removing it completely. I don't think they reverted the ninja buff for the 50kg, which gave it double AOE unless I am mistaken. Thread: Goliath self spotting??25 Dec 2015, 22:23 PM This is just an idea but I think it would be cool if the goliath came with a pioneer/radio squad (2 man) dedicated to controlling it. So the goliath would only be able to move or detonate if it's within their control aura. Once the goliath detonates they auto retreat. Just though this would add a bit more counter play than a unit that simply rofls wherever it likes on the map. OR Make sturmpioneers build radio masts (like pathfinders for USF) that emit an control aura for the goliath, meaning you have to plan ahead..... Just ideas mind you, so don't take offense In: COH2 Balance
Thread: B-425 Dec 2015, 22:18 PM I think staic artillery needs to be more resilient to one click counters, among other things. There is very little point to building artillery as the allies (not simply because the B-4 is a terrible units at present, like the KV1 lol) because it is countered so easily by the 50kg stuka strike with such certainty. But at least the 50kg bomb isn't in the same doctrine as a recon ability...that would be crazy XD In: COH2 Balance

PLus as we know the p4 is betterand the power of the t34 was that we were able to make 2 of them before wher get tanks out so now it is pretty ueless in my opinion. The t34 have bad armor good speed and poor penetration so against tanks its week and it seem that as soon as it come out the t34 need to fight p4 so now im just making su85 with t34 85. What do you think guys about putting back the t34 76 in t3 and higher the price of the building just to prevent too early spam. THanks for your reply Not true!
