Thread: Same map/enemy over and over?4 Jan 2017, 11:45 AM Same opponent(s)/teammate is sometimes quite frequent if you don't change between axis/allies between matches. There just doesen't seem to be enough players around. Other thing about automatching is that lately I have constantly been matched with people of higher ELO than myself. This can also be blamed on low number of players though. Also 2v2 mappool seems to be a lot smaller to the automatcher than it is in reality. I don't think there are so many vetoes available that the most frequent maps should be Moscow Outskirts, Trois Ponts and Road to Kharkov. I can literally count occasions where I can get Moscow or Kharkov 3 times in a row! In: COH2 Bugs

The issue here is that the ability fails to fire at times screwing up your timing or forcing extra micro into making sure the ability actually fires or moving your mortar and trying again. Aside from it's quirky behaviour when it comes to ranged abilities, it has a lot of uses, like controlling line of sight or buy that little extra time holding a VP or moving your troops to better positions. For instance smoke so a sniper can't pick off your riflemen off and force your opponent to sink more of his micro into it. Or cover a retreat. Thread: Unreliability of mortar smoke20 Nov 2016, 13:41 PM Hello everybody, as we all know, mortar smoke fires all but reliably. Even the changelog says that it was fixed some patches ago, but actually the problem still persists. When ordering a smoke barrage, the ability icon lights up but the mortar crew does nothing. Stopping the action of the crew resets the ability to be used again, should it work or not the next time. This issue still persists with atleast Ostheer and USF mortar, and personally I would really like for this ability to work as intended. Its a small issue, but personally I would like the flavour. As far as I know Ost mortar halftrack's smoke works everytime. Edit: This also happens with soviet mortar. In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Improving the T-34 Ram7 Apr 2016, 07:14 AM To ram, or not to ram? Not to ram. Mostly an annoying ability from a tank that is mostly usable for trolling the opponent. While a vet 3 T-34/76 is not impossible to achieve, it's sometimes really hard because that thing just can't hit anything. And a vet 1/2/3 T-34/76 doesen't feel any different from a fresh one. Hell, the most reliable way of getting some vet on this poor vehicle is just running over some infantry and hoping they can't faust you to have a pak or similar do the rest. Leave ramming ability as is and adjust T-34's veterancy and give it a small buff to it's AI capacity. At it's current state a T-70 is much better and can take a similar amout of schreck shots and costs less. And I'm not even going to take into account that you can build a MUCH better doctrinal T-34 from the same tier building. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Tank "spontaneous moonwalk" bug8 Mar 2016, 14:07 PM I thought this was caused by running over a crushable "yellow cover" object such as a wooden log? Somebody posted a youtube video about it a long time ago, can't remember the title. I've had this happen numerous times with medium tanks and light tanks, especially with stuart and sherman. For me atleast it does not require the proximity of another allied vehicle. In: COH2 Bugs
