I honestly prefer a snare to the current shreck. You buy the shreck upgrade for 90 muni but instead of getting a shreck, Volks get the ability to fire a shreck - for free because you have to buy it for every squad individually. Same range/cooldown as PzFausts but penetration/damage of shrecks. The results: - rifle damage from 10 to 12 basically increases their DPS to a value slightly below Grens - A-moving Volks blobs (with shrecks) won't work (anymore) against vehicles - Shrecks basically get less range/higher cooldown compared to bazookas in exchange for 100% accuracy (same as PzFausts) and the ability to snare vehicles - Volks don't lose a weapon slot I really like the idea. I would not implement the snare for free (I guess this wasn´t intended,) but remove the Munition penalty and make the snare cost around 35 munitions. This would lead to more use of combined arms and erase the shreck blobs of death. After the centaur nerf and the bug fix of camo, I think the Püppchen (Raketenwerfer) is in a good spot to take the AT part. In: COH2 Balance

I mean I took part in the balance Beta and it was clear that commandos and churchills are over the top and not balanced. So the question arises why every DLC/Stand alone expansion Relic produced contained units/factions that were OP. To name them DoW 1: Necrons, Dark Eldar, Adeptus Sororitas; CoH 1: PE (just remember the AC in the beginning) or of course Brits (Kangaroo, commandos, over repair). I really love all this games, but the continuity of these releases make me worry. Is it because Relic developers simply play different (no exploiting etc.) or they don´t have the money/staff to allow proper testing? I just don´t get it in some cases... In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Brit sniper and light vehicles?!?15 Oct 2015, 18:39 PM I do agree with OP. I´m not the spammer type and the Kübelwagen is designed to counter snipers. Against Brits it´s useless. And to mention the other problem, the british sniper isn´t very likely to kill units in garrisons due to the ability of harming vehicles/structures. He rather damages the building than the unit...
