Thread: Streaming on Twitch.tv12 Mar 2013, 10:27 AM Having some problems streaming CoH on my laptop. I'm running windows 7 64 bit and got CoH outside of steam. I use OBS and use game capture. CoH shows up in the options for game capture, I select it and switch to that screen then fullscreen the game, but I just get a complete blackscreen (with sound still working) much like when you got game capture on without having the game window up. I've tried both 32 bit and 64 bit version of OBS and neither works, but Dawn of War 2 works great with just using game capture->dow2 then fullscreen, so I know that it shouldn't be a problem with my laptop... Any ideas? In: Guides

Thread: Competitive Play12 Mar 2013, 00:24 AM I think it's also important to make the higher skill ceiling be discernible to lower level viewers. One of the reasons that I prefer watching Dawn of War 2 replays before Company of Heroes replays. Company of Heroes is extremely fun, but I get bored watching it without commentary. DoW 2 on the other hand got so much ability comboing and other fun stuff that I can watch it perfectly fine without commentary. It might just be preferences but I hope that CoH 2 will give some more visual high level pr0 moves. (I'm very curious about how sniper battles will turn out) In: Lobby

I like the sniper and everything it does, but once you have spotted it then it should become very vulnerable for at least the next 3-5 seconds. Something like that would be interesting. I'd like to have it so that snipers have to shift position instead of holding a single good position. Shifting position takes more micro and also makes it easier to outplay and counter (compared to now where you essentially need the right counter or run through a defensive line to catch the bastard) In: Lobby

Thread: Hacking paranoia is pissing me off11 Mar 2013, 13:16 PM My favorite is playing 2 whole game of 2v2 with Sheriff McNigNog against some randoms. We owned them pretty hard the first game, and the second game they tried to KCH spam us, which luckily failed since we had a good combined arms forced up (as well as heavy armour) then after playing with these guys for over an hour in total, one of them just writes "MAPHACKERS". And have given a release date, also they will reveal beta details this week iirc what I saw on twitter. If the reveal gets pushed up now I'll be a bit frustrated. Earlier it was understandable (not good or bad or whatever, only understandable) that they pushed it up with the events going on. Now they are back on track and the "turmoil" have supposedly ended.
