Thread: Dealing with Obers as SOV23 Jun 2020, 15:49 PM I would also suggest more practice with the Katy, at the very least it'll force a retreat and at best end those super-super-super-glorious vet III+ Obers who would otherwise melt any infantry in your arsenal. The Katy is the closest thing to a reliable counter in the Allied arsenal for the reasons you've mentioned already. I do not recommend Snipers as an LMG Ober can vaporise the model in 1 salvo. Do NOT try to counter the deadliest AI inf squad in the game with inf, it's just going to bleed you to death in the long run. A good OKW player will bleed you from long range and counter dive attempts with a Blendkörper to really mess with you. Source: Forum's resident Ober fan! PS: Just press T if they're double LMG Obers. Do you even have more than 100 munitions before reaching 1 CP? Agreed that the Goliath change seems rather redundant. Can't imagine any situation where an OKW player would realistically expect better results from eschewing StG44s/even grenade usage to get an early Goli before them at CP0-1. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: KT thread27 May 2020, 21:58 PM As it stands, I've thrown this unit into the dustbin permanently as it becomes a deathtrap on treads in the current Allied TD meta. I doubt even an armor increase of 375-> 400 would be enough to save it as that turns 58.7% -> 55% pen chance vs a stock Jackson and 48%-> 45% for a stock ZiS. It is just too damn slow and short of acting as a meatshield for a coordinated team with jagd spam, just asking to be destroyed. In: COH2 Balance
