Thread: OKW needs redesign?14 Oct 2020, 17:37 PM Oh good, so it's not just me who thought that OKW has major problems. Eg: volks behind sandbags trading evenly against LMG mainlines (UKF!!!) in open was not acceptable. Having to rely on them lategame and abandon getting Obers is well....ugly. KT being a glorified pillbox on slow treads might need serious looking at as well. In: COH2 Balance

They do seem to have a very high AI power I'll say that much but they don't give much for the late game in that doc either. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Double UKF. Anybody help?.6 Oct 2020, 19:30 PM Tough tough matchup requiring you to really outskill your opponent or severely punish a mistake. AEC delays fuel so something was off, like Kieselberg said. Perhaps they harassed your fuel too much? I've had some success with a Luchs to mercilessly bleed a UKF player but if they get AEC.....you'll need it dead asap as it won't give you second chances. Rear armour's a swiss cheese to the 20mm if you can faust/mine it. Either way, at that stage of the game you're reliant on a PZ IV rush to not be Bren'd off the field imho. Obers need more time to get vet unless behind sandbags and you need a Bren proof AI unit. Don't be afraid to try to run them over either, IS don't have AT nades. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: Dealing with full TD spam against all three factions25 Sep 2020, 15:41 PM Am at work at the moment but will give a few pointers. I see this problem all the time in 3v3+ as OKW. 1. Do not attempt to counter Allied TDs in 2020 with Panthers unless it’s 1v1 and you are sure there’s no enemy help coming. They are cheaper and can be assumed to penetrate your armor the vast majority of the time. 2. If they have massed so much armor, your team has done something wrong. We’re talking easily 600+ fuel by that description. Where’s the Elefant? The Jagdtiger? Panther spam does not work well in the meta unless they’re spamming Churchills/Meds. Gone are the days where a Panther can facetank 2 FFs and kill one and then retreat. 3. TD spam is counterable by schreck infantry/AT guns yes but it’s not a 100% answer (katyushas etc.). You need the Axis super heavy TDs. Yes, even a single AT gun can punch the wind out of a TD advance and quickly vaporise one/soften them up. 4. I would recommend an armor BO of Pz IV Auf J then Jagdpanzer IVs. Those underrated TDs have smaller size than Allied contemporaries, see out to 45 and have arguably the best scaling of any regular TD in the game. They also kill Fireflies faster than FF can kill them due to the 4 hits to kill metric. Below vet III FF anyway. 1B. ‘Elite’ Armor Commander can technically fight TDs with the 45 sight range/10% more accurate Panthers and even use HEAT to vaporise heavy allied tanks. However, this is an extremely risky playstyle and even 5K players can outspam you even with the bonus fuel income. In: OKW Strategies

Kinda impressed you actually looked the stats up though lol. What can I say, I wanted a high ranking in 4v4 RT and gave up on that after many many disastrous games. (When I play Allies, it isn’t intimidating at all and an AT gun can threaten it enough to back away. I’ve had some success using it as a glorified mobile pillbox in urban maps where TDs are easily lured into death traps but.....pz IV is more cost effective vs inf) In: Ostheer Strategies
