Well yes, OST early game, midgame and part of late game is just better/easier than OKW. That's the power of a full toolkit for you. OKW only has real advantages with a tiny sliver at the start and of course the very late game. |
It's cost me a game with a pit that really needed to die (to an LeFH), but the only thing you can do is just let them fire, no matter how bad the new target situation is. Maybe the enemy will wander something into the fire zone, who knows.
EDIT: This bug has been brought up before (including by yours truly), but I think there just were too many other more pressing issues to deal with previously. |
So is the jackson
So is the Sherman according to many ppl |
I know it doesn't realistically work, but I was really hoping for a more post-ww2 coh3 with M48 and leopard 1s against T-62s and T-64s. Then we give glorious USA M1A2
INB4 M1A2 is killed frontally by T-54 due to RNG? Leopard 1 was a literal paper tank that even PTRS could threaten death with lol.
Back to the topic, I am curious what other 'unusual' tanks we'll be getting in COH3. I'm still getting a laugh out of Germany's entire Sturmtiger arsenal being deployed in a single game, at times |
Your wish is granted
Thx, but I know of these guys already. Not sure how I feel about the assault nades but my PC wasn’t able to handle the game last time, so I couldn’t test it myself. No one’s been able to tell me if the LMG can fire on the move though. |
If Relic decides to make the Eastern Front DLC. I will insist that the USSR get the T-44, IS-3, ZSU-37, AS-44 assault rifle, RD-44 machine gun, SKS and RPG-1 into the game. All this was already either as a prototype or was produced but was not used in the war. Britain has a Black Prince why can't the USSR get all this?! I want it immediately!!
I've always been against the BP being in the game, but seems it's here to stay. Idk, take it up with Relic, as you said, "Its opened the door for all sorts of nonsense."
I just want my Obers in COH3 \o\ |
Ah, and there's another argument here: reality ≠ balance and the game might be viable. And in general, Britain in the game has a prototype from 1945 in Africa 1942-1943. We also want a cool wunderwaffe for our faction. Give it to us now!
INB4 KV-1S (Edit:122mm gun version) and Panther II? |
Too late, the Black Prince is already here. Its opened the door for all sorts of nonsense: - wait a minute, Britain got the Black Prince, why not give the US a T1/M6 heavy tank?
Because it's a very very heavy slow brick that'll get stomped by a Tiger? It's got a 75mm gun so you can't move it to lower tiers like say...a British Matilda (40mm gun) could have been. So late game tech placement where it has to face...a Tiger.
Or maybe Tiger is the problem after Black Prince? |
And how much Pershing do you see in the game? I have not seen Pershing for several years
Well....I put 3 KT HEAT shells into one a couple days ago. One shell bounced
Oh believe me, ppl will clamour for the USF heavy again, even if they later hate it. Please no M6 heavy Relic, that would be bad. |
I do wish they'd push the release date to next year. It'll no doubt go down badly with corporate, but a bad launch stays with the product for a long time. I'm not saying this because I made a prediction (way back) of a next-year launch, but because the timescale doesn't matchup. The game industry has enough burnt out devs from crunch as is. |
