To kill a panther you need nearly as many shots (assumimg they all pen, but with 320 armour and in live up to 352 armour and an extra hits worth of health) as it would take to kill all of the katys. The panther was nerfed because it was a tank that was more durable than a pershing, but not limited in any way other than cost. Do i agree with the nerf? No but i understand it because 6 panthers is a durable, long ranged, high pen, muli mg death squad. If the enemy GETS there you deserve to lose and you WILL becauae there isnt a counter to it. No off map, no number of tanks will save you.
Meanwhile those katys would have to run from a literal kuble. They could be killed by any single- ANY single off map (well maybe not stuka flame bombs, but any other one) can kill a katy. But just TRYING to follow how you can compare the second most durable unit that is non doc to one of the squishiest certainly helps me understand how the enemy managed to pull this over on you.
You forget to remember that katyushas aren't going to be found right on the front line, you're gonna have to dive past bofors guns, infantry blobs and mines just to have a chance at finding a katyusha. Offmaps are out of the question if katyushas are hanging in base between barrages if player is experienced. Low armor and health are irrelevant if they are completely untouchable other than counter barrage. |

Hi guys, just asking if there are any plans in place to nerf Soviet Industry 75 muni repair stations? Since this patch focus is to balance team games, I think that Soviet Industry is too powerful in a high level Allied team.
It doesn't have to be a huge nerf, maybe just increase the cost of the repair stations would be fine. |

Problem I see in 2v2s and above is that once mid-late game comes on big maps, rocket arty rolls out and starts wiping axis vetted infantry, meanwhile vet allied infantry are relatively untouched unless through misplay or anything else.
As the game goes on, you see vet 3 rifle lmg blobs, vet 3 penal blobs, vet 3 IS double bren blobs, which is impossible to counter when you already lost your own vetted grens or mg42 to a lucky katy barrage. Hence you see panther "cheese", but wait! There's more!
You can't exactly win tank battles too because a 3s or 4s team that knows what they're doing will have a Soviet player with Industry commander spamming repair emplacements every where around the goddamn map, so not only are you losing infantry engagements, you're getting buttfucked with mass su85s too. Woo! Axis is fun!

"To the level of British one" does not mean that it should only change to base stats.
Whenever I use Panther or Tiger and hit by USF ATGun I was like meh, while UKF 6pounder immediate force me to retreat.
As long as you vet it to level 1, have ammo, pay the micro to use its ability...
After the ammo nerf on vet 1 ability, it's never worth unless you play 1v1, when there is no team mate.
don't think that's anything to do with USF AT Gun, more like Brit AT Gun is way too accurate. |

I just think that unless you want 4 volks luchs rush every single game against OKW, you really gotta think about buffing a component of alternative playstyles i.e. Battlegroup HQ. |

funny thing is once rifles and penals get to vet 3, mg34 doesn't even get a chance to suppress. Double bren IS Blobs wiping mg42/34 faster than it can even suppress still happens btw.
Either give it another suppression buff or more damage, currently it makes more sense to just build more volks to contest the map. |

I find ostheer way easier in 2v2s compared to OKW, easy access to strong team weapons and the like. Very adaptable in the face of different factions as well based on your commander pick, expecting a strong penal opening? 4/5 gren build will wreck brit openers and soviets alike. Meanwhile you can also rush go double mgs, pio then 2 grens for a more defensive opening that still has soft counters against scout car rush, mp40s on pios and a well positioned mg42 drops a scout car in seconds.

Game is getting increasingly more complicated with all these new mechanics, don't forget that it still has to be friendly for new players because the learning curve is already pretty steep. Sometimes less is more. |
