Vickers K is still better than Enfield far and far better mid close. That enables Tommies to fight at all ranges. Will they beat LMG squad far range in cover to cover probably not but they can fight at all ranges. Huh? I was saying that the Vickers K is not ideal on Tommies because their Lee Enfields are not designed for short distance fights, I never compared the Lee Enfield with the Vickers K. Of course the Vickers K is still a good choice when it's a CQC map, but other than that the bren is superior. This is the point I was trying to make: You don't want to give sections the vickers and charge in like riflemen if you don't have to In: COH2 Balance

Other than that this makes no sense. The weapon profile of the Lee Enfield doesnt fit to the Vickers K which is basically a BAR clone. Lee Enfields have good longrange but at short range they have less damage than Volk K98 (and way less than Gren K98) In: COH2 Balance

What do you think about?19 Feb 2022, 13:19 PM Tommies are a good squad per se, but they have some significant tradeoffs as others mentioned: - they need to be in cover to get their massive RoF bonus and -5% received accuracy. Out of cover they are inefficient for 270mp - no snares - you need to invest 35-50 fuel (bolster and racks) in side upgrades for them if you wanna keep up in the mid game. That is super expensive and can cripple your vehicle economy - due to their mediocre vet bonuses they scale horribly into the late game, to a point where it's impossible to win vs vetted grens, fusiliers, obers and JLI unless you use doctrinal abilities like the command vehicle or "Assault" In: COH2 Balance

Or is it to get completely smashed by meme strats against people way better than you because the match making sucks the pubes off a tick on a goats ass? So now it's suddenly about having fun only? Because if your understanding of fun is "If I win the match I had fun, if I lose then I did not", then GiaA is right. You cannot possibly tell me that you are playing with full rank 5000 teammates against full top 500 allllll the time. Basically most other types of matches in 4v4 are winable if you play good enough, but it feels like some people expect the game to hand them a 3-digit rank and 60% winrate with ease, even when said people openly admit that they are not good at CoH2. On the other hand if your meaning of fun is to have good, long games then I dont see the issue either. I see a lot of 30+ minute games in your history. In: COH2 Balance
