One change I would love to see: Spotting scopes now increase the main-gun accuracy by 50%, if stationary. (remove the 50% sight range bonus and remove spotting scopes for Panzerwerfer) or Spotting scope upgrade now gives access to a timed ability (30sec?) that costs (35?) munitions, which increases the sight range by 50% if stationary, rather than a permanent effect. 60 seconds cooldown. Similar to the vet 1 ability of SU76, SU85 etc. This would make them a lot more balanced but still viable. Like seriously, spotting scopes are so ridiculously broken in teamgames on 80% of the maps, it's not even funny. Every tank (esp. Elefants and Brummbars) just spots for itself, and a sight range that is big enough to detect any flanking attempt so you have more than enough time to react on it without having to use your brain aka using different units to scout for your tanks. Nigo has a point. I never felt City 17 unbalanced. Why did they take it out? Why did they take out all those maps all? Just give the player the opportunity to veto whatever they want and add all maps. If people don't want to play a map, don't force them! And if they want to play others, let them! I really miss some maps. You really miss those maps and wonder why they got removed? City 17 had a ton of balance problems, only the left side was alright. The middle and the right side was a mix of overpowered houses and negative cover(streets) everywhere. And both 2-man teams on each side were so far away from each other... super annoying map IMO. Lazur factory was a retarded camp map where dynamic play was almost impossible due to flanking routes getting defended very easily. Very boring map. Montargis Region had horrible resource point design (both fuel depots on same spot, both ammo depots on same spot LOL), 5 VPs!! and a ton of annoying and unnecessary sight and/or shotblockers across the entire map, almost like there was no agenda for the map design of this map, it was a complete mess IMO. And well, Hill 331 was just Hill 331, that's all that needs to be said  |

About 2 versions of the same map (summer + winter) : I always wondered if it would be a good idea to put both versions into 1 map on the mappool. So whenever you get that map in automatch, there is a 50/50 RNG roll that you either get the summer or the winter version (in case that is even possible without having to change the code of the game files.) But vetoing both versions would consume only 1 veto then |

I use the M1942 from time to time and I think it's fine for its price. I mean I guess you can do the damage buff if you want, but I dont see at all why penetration should get buffed. 222, 251, luchs and Puma, those are the units the M1942 is supposed to hardcounter, and it does. It is supposed to do jackshit vs p4 frontal armor. It penetrates a p4 from time to time (especially on rear/side armor), but not always ofc You really should test the M1942 in cheat commands mod, it isnt that horrible. The amazing RoF is just perfect vs smaller vehicles, and it gains vet pretty fast. In: Lobby |

as mentioned above, I think it wouldn't even require any testing to know that this unit would be completely overpowered after those changes. So for 200mp you expect a high mobility AT gun with the highest rate of fire, which reliably penetrates a P4 and destroys said unit with 6 shots (or 5 shots + AT nade)?
Why do you want to see a comeback of dshk spam? IIRC you complained a lot (in Twitch chats) back when it was meta in 1v1. In: Lobby |
