Cav Riflemen already have the problem that they are pretty meh outside of a Jeep or Half track. So they need some sort of additional utility. Maybe a normal satchel instead of an AT satchel to deal with bunkers and OKW trucks faster? But then it might be too OP with the smoke nades on the other hand, they could just single-handedly take out an OKW schwerer Panzer HQ or a bunker In: COH2 Balance |

Early StuGs are pretty good in the mid game to hardcounter allied medium tanks. In the late game I have seen StuG spam working with a command p4 and spotting scopes. But I would definitely prefer t4 instead in late game |

Correct me if Im wrong but Ostheer infantry doesnt need to scale well into the late game. In late game you can replace your inf army by many pioneers and focus on TANKS only. Many Panthers with Panzer tactician on big maps and Elefant + Brummbar with scopes on narrow maps is superior to what that your opponent can bring to the field. And Ostheer has the best anti-blob tools (Brummbar, Panzerwerfer) and the best HMG In: COH2 Balance |

Oh and I think heavy fortifications can stay in Luftwaffe doc. An early flak emplacement can sometimes be a super good option, and I love trenches as OKW. The trench is the perfect spot for a raketenwerfer in the late game where you already have a lot tanks, for example if you put it next to your schwerer panzer HQ... without the chance of the raketen being stolen  In: COH2 Balance |
