If you would have actually followed this thread you would also have noticed that the problems he addresses are agreed upon commonly, affect all game modes since they are bound to specific units and have nothing to do with some special cheese shit he and his mates may pull off in premade games. They affect every player, every map and every mode. But what to expect of someone called TickTack... Probably related to Clockwork Orange. In: COH2 Gameplay

While glider was coming down, my teammate reversed his AC into my landing glider postion. Result? AS was stuck under the glider's cabine and couldnt move. Not a bug, just bad luck. Same applies to OKW infantry getting stuck when you placed the medic HQ too close to an obstacle and let squads retreat to it. Can be avoided by better spacing. First time opening the tac map is a guaranteed 2-3 second hard freeze, every single time. It's pretty infuriating. I converted my entire setup from 1440p down to 1080p to see if it would help any. It didn't. COH2 has some really serious memory management issues, and I wouldn't be surprised if it had a memory leak. Can confirm 2 things, one is the 2-3 second freeze when opening the strategic map for the first time in a game and the other is the suspicion regarding memory leak. Whenever I played some bigger games in a row, say 3v3s or 4v4s, my RAM (8 GB) is basically full with whatever and my whole PC is essentially unusable for at least another minute after shutting down the game. I also rarely ever upgrade my Volks with shreks anymore since I need the munitions for incendiary nades or just other stuff in general. Rackten + mine combo is much powerful, and just normally Shreks won't help you versus Brits at all. Unfortunately balance doesn't depend on what you usually do, but rather what the unit's traits are. It also doesn't matter what Conscripts can do in comparison, because that's another faction with it's own dynamics. Conscripts also don't have hard AT and the faction has specialist infantry units for every purpose while OKW doesn't. Which doesn't mean giving Volks MP44s would be any necessary when OKW also has Sturmpios. Maybe give them the light versions, MP40s, with a special Commander. That's it. In: COH2 Balance

A 235 MP unit that has 5 models and access to hard AT capabilities should definitely not serve any other purpose than that plus being cheap ways to cap territory and recrew team weapons. Period. If you want assault troops, mix Volks with Sturmpios. At this point I would rather give MP44s to Tommies... In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Churchills HP (1400-1600) over the top28 Sep 2015, 12:38 PM That's what he does. He tanks. The Crocodile and the AVRE are special and very dangerous, therefore their HP got nerfed already. If you would nerf the normal Churchill's HP, what role would he fill then? And if I would need to spend 185 fuel, I would just get a Comet instead. The normal Churchill does nothing to you that you couldn't do to your opponent as well. His only special trait is the large HP pool that allows him to move through a pak wall with some infantry covered in smoke. That's all he is for and that's what he needs to be. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: I hate UKF and I need help.25 Sep 2015, 22:45 PM Amazing. Basically everyone with at least half a brain cell knows about the problems Brits have in early and mid game. There are countless threads about it. Even high ranked players agree that UKF lacks certain tools that everyone else has. And then there are always people who get rekt by UKF in the early game. Thread: Fix commandos already relic !!25 Sep 2015, 11:54 AM God forbid an Elite Infantry unit you call in for more than 500 MP is actually useful in specific situations. And God especially forbid the Brits from having some other infantry other than their mediocre Tommies. You either face one Commando squad or one Centaur. The UKF player can't afford both.
