This is stupid, the Soviets and the Germans already have the tone of commanders with mixed abilities. We have some field where we can operate. For example we have model of Hetzer Tank, if we mix it with animation of jp4 firing we could get new tank destroyer for OKW. There is plenty of unused from beta UKF units that can be shown in new commander (AT commandos, recon Tommies, Artylery officer, and more) Another example: Soviet got equipment not only from USA, Commonwealth also sended a lot of stuff. Missions from a skirmish mode don't make campaign well design. I mean there isn't even real mission of defending outskirts of Bastogne. I expected more CoH1 opposing front campaign style The arguments you meansion are reasonable like twicks for Baker company but don't think are so much needed. I mean this campaign is way too easy even on the hardest mode - that's my biggest issue and i would start from there. In: COH2 Gameplay

Adding this ig would make PIATs useless (I know - no1 uses it anyway). Snare is needed, i agree but don't think non doc Boy AT rifle squad is an answer. It will also need almost a new model so I doubt this will ever happen. I only can say that this unit was implemented in Steel Division. Don't know if it was accually used in Western Front or not. Thread: Universal Carrier Mortar HT26 Jun 2018, 10:25 AM The reason why brits aren't so popular in 1v1 arena it's becouse they lack of more mobile indirect fire and snare options. Balancing/changing the mortar pit won't be enough and don't think it's the right way. To keep uniqueness of british faction design and to not copy paste simple mortar from a Eastern Front Armies i would suggest to add upgrade for Universal Carrier - mortar HT. It would make UC more desirable unit mid/late game with possiblity to clear and smoke team weapons at long range (rapid fire ability at vet1?). Cost of an upgrade i would leave to a balance team. Stats of units would be just base on a USF or Ostheer mortar ht. What do you think guys? Would it be a solution for a lack of basic indirect fire? In: COH2 Balance

Balance guys will do a good job. Why commanders? We have already enough commanders ig (90% of them no1 uses). if you wanna add something let it be: more basic structure units, add more abilities, more upgrades(and finger crossed that in 6 anniversary it would be balanced). Essentially, you get 10 extra LoS, cheap arty flares, camo in cover, and two scoped SMLEs that crit enemy infantry at 40% HP (otherwise identical to regular IS SMLE). I would say that this would make it attractive in its own way. Accually this units was presented in beta (or even on a release?) and it was coming i think with valentine tank. That units was called Scout section I only remember it had diffrent icon and it could use cammo. It was removed becouse call in battlegroups were too expensive and i think people didn't really like it. Sadly this unit wouldn't be used by players becouse currently Tommy squad behind green cover at vet 1 has a quite huge LoS (so to implement that upgrade basic vet 1 buff should be nerf) In: COH2 Balance
