The cloaking itself is fine - but I feel like the recloak time needs to be tweaked a little bit right now its a little too fast IMO. I think the fact that the JP4 isn't built that often (from my experience) is part of the reason why the phase shifting/cloak isn't really talked about much. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: USF Heavy Cav needs some love don't you think?3 Feb 2016, 21:55 PM Rangers have great received accuracy, great Vet, AND they have 3 weapon slots. I think its a fair trade-off that they come at 3 CP. The Pershing won't beat a tiger 1 on 1 but then again its also MUCH better at AI than a Tiger (and faster as you mentioned). Not to mention the fact that HVAP rounds allow you to essentially perform a double shot - its fine for what it is as long as you don't have unrealistic expectations of using it as if it was a tiger. Maaaybe knock off like 10 fuel? That would be about it IMO. In: COH2 Gameplay

If I recall correctly I believe I read that bulletins apply to the models regardless of if you use them to recrew a weapon or use Merge to put them in a new squad (I.E. if you merge them with Guards then then those models retrain the bulletin bonuses). The gun itself does not have the bonuses ( the maxim itself won't have the accuracy bonus). If your talking about Weapon Crews on a default Maxim squad - I don't think so (I believe they have a different model in the game files for "Weapon Crew"). The only thing about Strums is I feel like they should remove the 100% movement speed over rough terrain - it was a nice bonus back when they were more expensive and you rarely built more than 1 additional one but now it feels a bit excessive; especially against Conscripts. I've found that they do a bit better against Volks in the early game and the extra flamer can be handy on more garrison heavy maps. Albeit they admittedly don't scale nearly as well as Conscripts do. I'm kind of curious how/when you use the IL-2 Stafe as well... whenever I use it I always just feel underwhelmed for its 180 Muni cost. Thread: Sov vs OKW: Broken Match up2 Feb 2016, 02:24 AM I agree with OP ... it feels like Cons are the new Volks (at least in the early game) feels a bit too easy to just brute force them down with Volks and StrumPios. Nothing like having Cons sitting in cover and just watching Strums YOLO at them and still win. The fact that maxim spam is pretty meta just underlines this as does the fact that most of the meta commanders have elite infantry call-ins - the mere thought of not having Guards or Shocks makes me cringe. To force you to use it tactically - if you could toggle it off then there would be no risk to using it close to the front lines (aside from not getting a full return for your Muni). This way you're forced to use it to repair your tanks in a safe place or risk losing them (just like USF or OKW Elite Armor Ability). On a side note tanks are immune to rifle fire so that wouldn't affect it. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: and idea for okw veterancy1 Feb 2016, 18:11 PM The only issue I have with Vet 5 is how Shreks make Volks vet up so fast. Other than that most units take so long to get 4-5 that its not really an issue (albeit very annoying/rewarding when you have, say Vet 5 G43 Fusies raping everything). Especially when you consider the Vet4/5 nerf post 100% income and the Rifles/Con Vet 3 Rec. Acc buff that sorta offsets it. In: COH2 Balance
