Thread: Remove Terminator Vet OR Buff Axis Elite22 Feb 2016, 16:46 PM I'm pretty sure that Soviet meta maxim spam and the broken Veterency is proof enough that Cons need the Vet 3 to scale worth a damn. Rifleman also take fairly long to get Vet 3 after they increased the requirements. Let's not have a short memory of why they added the Vet 3 buff in the first place and we can all go back in time to when USF was nothing but a late game MP bleed fest. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Concerned about 222 price19 Feb 2016, 21:23 PM Eh I don't understand the concern. HP buff doesn't change 222 performance OR its timing than current patch. I mean its not like Allies currently get swamped by 222s now. I don't really see how surviving small arms fire for a bit longer changes any of that. (Though I agree that Brits might struggle because who needs a vehicle snare when your non-doc snare gets hard countered by light vehicles) In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 1V1 - Guess i have no idea what to do late-match.19 Feb 2016, 16:56 PM If you have an early advantage it usually helps to maximize times when you've forced retreats to prepare the battlefield to your advantage. Mines are big one - on main roads and VPs. Getting HMG covering VPs to prevent them from stalling your VP bleed helps too. That and having an awareness of the game situation. A lot of players on the backfoot will save for a Tiger/IS2/KT etc. If you haven't seen armor for a while and your opponent is MIA in his base he's probably saving for a last ditch push. Prepare AT according to anticipate this (always take note of his doctrines during load out). In: Strategy Desk
Thread: No fuel cost for UC....19 Feb 2016, 16:47 PM I personally like the change - I still won't bother with it versus Ostheer because its it's pretty much dead once 222 appears and fausts are a PITA. OKW though I see myself building it more regularly for Kubels - I think it also would be interesting to experiment with on larger maps as a troop transport for your starting squad to rush a key building or harass fuel/cut-off. The fuel wasn't a big deal but it certainly didn't help matters given the UC's performance. Every time it inevitably died it more often than not didn't make big enough of a difference vs. getting AEC/Cromwell sooner. Another thing to keep in mind is this means that you can get out a supporter Sapper faster as well so it won't be useless if damaged while you wait to Tech up. Might be fun to play with Sappers and UC as a ghetto clown car In: UKF Strategies
